Samsung F400

CNET
23 August 2009
  • Summary: An above-average handset but without any single stand-out feature. It's more usable than the Motorola Rokr E8 and doesn't require a proprietary headphone cable like the Sony Ericsson W760i, but both still beat it as music phones
  • Pros: Great keypad; 3.5mm headphone socket; microSD support; decent integrated speakers; fast data connection.
  • Cons: Screen quality; music player function feels unfinished; no particularly outstanding feature.

Samsung F400

Mobile Review
26 June 2008
  • Summary: The reception quality put up by the F400 is in line with other Samsung-branded devices. The ringtone volume is quite decent, as it can be heard in various environments. The silent alert is average strength-wise, no significant improvements have been made here. Retailing for as much as 350 Euro, the F400 is not the device to look out for – it’s pretty steep and doesn’t offer any substantial advantages compared to other Samsung-branded phones, plus there is not much to...

  • Summary: Samsung is world reknowned for its design – you only need look at it's back catalogue of devices to realise this. However, it has made a few slip-ups along the way, such as the ill-fated F300 music phone, which was an absolute shocker of a device. Fortunately, it looks like Samsung has got is arse in gear with the F400, which sets out to make up for lost ground and become a serious contender in the fight to become the best music-phone on the market.

Im Test: Musik-Handy Samsung F400

netzwelt
12 December 2009
