Slow and Buggy Mess
29 August 2014
Summary: This was my first Android phone, and almost caused me to go iPhone the next time around. I have experienced all of the bugs that everyone in other reviews have listed. In addition, if Bluetooth was turned on, and a call came in, I would get loud beeping on the line which would persist until I restarted the phone (which takes forever).
Pros: Good Call Quality. Cheap Battery Replacement,
Stick with the phone you have or spend the money. Don't buy this phone.

Summary: This phone allowed me to be on it non-stop for more than 3 hours before I needed to recharge it. I was indifferent to the features it had, although I will say the screen has a great vivid color to it. That said it was very, very slow. I had to take the batter off to reset it less than 24 hours after I got the phone. I have had to do this about every day or every other day.
Summary: I have experienced many issues with this phone. I constantly experience the "black screen of death" or the "white screen of death" where the phone will stop responding for upwards of a minute. I have had my phone start vibrating, usually when I get an e-mail notification I've noticed, and never stop vibrating until I shut it down and turn it back on. It gets frozen often and I've had to take the battery out and turn it back on.
Pros: I love the Android system and the way the phone is setup. The customizable home screens are a plus. The camera is not bad.
Summary: Phone bogs down with too little RAM. Maybe if you ROOT it and get rid of bloatware, but even then I'm guessing it's slow. Just not enough RAM. Sometimes it takes 10-15 seconds for the phone to respond when I try to open contacts, or messaging. Imagine going up to a girl, asking for her number, and then staring at your phone as it refuses to do anything. This life could be yours!!
Pros: There aren't a lot of 4G prepaid options out there, so that's a positive. Android is awesome, so that is a positive as well.
Cons: This phone has too little RAM so its processing capability is minimal. You can upgrade HD but not RAM so the phone will always be slow. Sometimes it takes 10-15 seconds to open contacts. In addition, music playback is bugged.
Summary: So far this phone is ok. I've had it for about 3 months and it freezes up pretty often which gets annoying. I'm not too bummed about it since the price is so much lower than other smart phones. Would still recommend to others needing a smartphone but don't have $500 to blow. Update: I am changing my review from 3 stars to 2 stars. This phone is just plain old ridiculous. The lag time is unlike any other phone I've ever seen.
Summary: I love the phone, BUT...it often freezes to the point I am missing texts and calls. My Father is sick right now, and I need open communication at all times. During the night last night, the phone decided to freezed up, and I missed five phone calls and about 20 texts...my Dad was trying to get a hold of me. I am looking into a way to return it and get something else. So upset.
Summary: The phone is so bad I had to go back to my blackberry and it is now collecting dust. It was small so typing on it was hard, you do not get read receipts for mail sent and it was hard to see screen when outdoors. The battery life was the worst. I guess this phone is not for business needs.
Summary: I had the samsung exhibit II for almost a full month before giving up on it and returning it. The actual form factor is nice, very slim and compact. The buttons, particularly the on/off button are impossible to find simply by feeling around for them with your fingers, they are just too flush with the phone. The call volume, at least on my samsung exhibit II, was always extremely low. At max volume, I always strained to hear the person on the other end.
Summary: Positives: The size. I don't feel like I'm carrying around a small brick. It's nice and thin and it's the perfect size for my hand. The display screen is great; colours really pop and any picture I take looks wonderful on this phone. Great apps.
