Samsung SGH-E590 Mobile Phone

  • Excerpt: Intrigued by product design by renowned designer Jasper Morrison and at a price tag I couldn’t resist, I had to buy this Samsung SGH-E590 phone. The design is minimalist, yet it maximizes every buttons and keys to make it a fully functional camera-phone with a decent 3-megapixel camera to …

SGH-E590 - A winner

Angela, Phone Arena
18 January 2009
  • Excerpt: I have had this phone for about 2 years now and it's the best phone I have ever had.  It is small and fits into your pocket with you even knowing it is there.  Messaging is really easy and voice clarity exceptional.  I cannot fault this phone.  It's stylish and always a conversation piece. Camera is good, better for outdoors shots in sunlight.  I don't think that it could replace your digital camera but is perfect for those on the go shots.
  • Pros: Small,, Easy to use - calling and messaging, voice clairity, style
  • Cons: button on bottom right has worn a little but this is after two years of use and lots of sms-ing. it does not affect the functioning of the phone however.

Perfect for my needs

Sniglet, Phone Arena

  • Excerpt: I've been using the SGH-E590 for just under a month and so far I'm very happy with it. My main criteria for a phone is that it easily fits in the coin pocket of my jeans and this one has no problem because it's so tiny. All the other features are a bonus. The camera takes surprisingly good pictures, but it won't be replacing my Canon digital camera. The video, on the other hand, is about what you'd expect from a phone.

A good all-rounder with great designer features

  • Excerpt: The E590 trumpets its designer status, which means you are most likely to love it or hate it. As it happens, I'm in the "love it" camp. The styling is simple, clean and attractive. The front looks like Nokia at its best - in my opinion that's a good thing! - and the rear view is a nice-looking 3MP autofocus camera.
  • Pros: Very pleasing physical form
  • Cons: Samsung multi - function port can annoy

Great little phone that packs a punch

  • Excerpt: A great litte phone that packs a punch. Traded in my old phone to this one. It is smaller and lighter than my previous. But its got a larger screen better battery life and tons more functions. Has a mini joystick for navigation which makes it a breeze. Camera is 3 megapixel and is great for stils and small videos. Ample memory for storing mp3s and suprisingly Office documents and PDFs all of which can be viewed. Comes with some neat games to pass away afew minutes.
  • Pros: Small, lightweight .  Tons of features
  • Cons: Often noted  -  no flash for camera .
