Excerpt: I looked the the specs online i was sastified so, i bought this phone on a "BUY1 FREE1" promotion. However maybe i expected too much from this phone, i thought it would be something like NOKIA's phones that in the similar price range which we can set MP3 tones to diferent indidviduals. But it only works on group's tones instead of individual selection in the contact list. The battery is long lasting just like whats an usual Samsung would have made of.
Summary: The phone worked for 3 days but i noticed it was turning itself off every couple of hours. after 3 days of constantly checking my phone i realised that this was happening all the time. i googled problems with samsung e2121 phone and discovered it has a fault with the phone auto switching off. so not happy and 2 weeks wasted in receiving the phone and receiving a refund for faulty goods. The phone was also a nightmare to set up.
Summary: I dropped my Blackberry in the sea and decided to source a basic phone that I could use when out in my kayak to replace said Blackberry. This phone does what I want it to do, phone, text and take the occassional photo. I will get a marine VHF radio in due course but this is a short term solution. Yes there are more expensive phones on the market but if all you want to do is be able to text, phone and take the odd photo then this fits the bill.
Summary: If you need a good basic phone for calls messages without lots of apps and gizmo's then this is a good choice. Easy to use with camera included.. Phone is sim free and connected with my existing sim card with no problem.
