Summary: I bought this as my first smartphone. It has been easy to use, and I love it. I let my 2 yr. old nephew hold it, and he was playing games in minutes. I do wish it had more internal memory, but with a large micro-SD card it works good. So glad it has that option. Overall I would recommend this phone. Good value for a good price!
Great phone for the value, great features for the size!

Summary: Purchased the Samsung T-499 DARK SLATE as secondary just in case cell phone. Am quite suprised at the easy functions and small size capability of the DARK SLATE. There are other high end Samsung and Nokia models, along with other high end, ready for the end of the world apps, however, this easy slick model is perfect the person who does not spend his or her day in the hardcore, have to know and have to do mode.
Great entry level Android phone for those getting their first smart phone.

Summary: For others like me that just want an entry level Android phone, this is a good choice. It is not made to compete with the more expensive models. I have enjoyed several Samsung phones over the years. This is my first Android phone. It was easy to learn how to use and there are apps one can use to call in areas where your normal carrier signal sucks. Really cool. Original battery was just 1200mAh, but there are some available dirt cheap that are 1500mAh.
Summary: This was my first touch phone. It took me a few days to figure everything out. If you never had a touch phone you need to download the manual, it will save you a lot of time. Also make it a point to use the back button not the home button to close out the apps, if you don't the apps keep running. If the apps keep running then the phone will slug down. Also shut the phone off at least once every 2 days and keep your RAM Cleared. All in all I like the phone.
Summary: I have had the phone for a couple of months and at around a hundred bucks it is hard to say anything negative about this phone. Of course it has battery issues it runs Android!!! Clear out apps with task manager, turn off automatic syncing and use the back key rather than the home key and you will be fine. With wifi off it will go for a few days with out recharging. I use t-mobile pay as you go with no data plan and run wifi for data and email.
Summary: The dart is a sleek and cheap android phone. It has all the features I need love my dart. I love that I can get so many apps on it. I do hat that it is an android at time because apps I have on my iPad I can't get on my droid. Battery life stinks on it and it dies within an hour if you don't have it on charge.
