Excerpt: I have had this phone for about 8 days now, the phone was cool and I loved it at first but then i started having problems with the screen going out on it! It has happened now like 3 times and I will be taking it back and exchanging it for something else!
Excerpt: I have owned just about every Samsung phone that T-Mobile has carried. The D-415 is clearly the most beautiful headset yet! I am not impressed with the features of the phone. It is as feature equipped as the simple E-105 (except of course for the Video and Camera). I would have liked a speaker phone, and maybe bluetooth capabilities. I don't like the fact that it is not MP3 compatible, and a memory card would be nice. You see...but that's just me being picky.
Excerpt: The d415 is amazing and although I absolutely love my phone I will admit it is not perfect. If your looking for a phone that comes with a ton of wallpapers, the d415 only has 8 and they aren't even that nice. The automatic phone locking feature can be annoying and I don't like the built in quick access keys (they should be programmable like other samsungs).
Excerpt: Although the phone lacks the bluetooth and speakerphone capabilites, the unique design of the phone that includes the swivel camera feature separates the phone from its competitors. The video recording feature is impressive as well, easily comparable to the Nokia 6600. The 215,000 color screen is upgrade from the 65000 color screen of the V205(my previous phone), and the battery life seems to last just as long if not longer with the inclusion of the video recorder and...
quick, easy to use browsing
Loud ringers (sometimes too loud)
Crisp, loud earpiece
all the extras (email, calendar, etc)
swiveling camera, color controls & effects, digital zoom
No speaker phone
I knew all this when I bought it... got it cuz I didn't need the cons... so I ain't complainin! ^^
Don't know how much different D410 is from D415, but if anything, IT'S BETTA! cuz it's not stupidified by T-mobile!
Excerpt: I am disappointed in my Samsung D415. I just upgraded from a trusty Motorola v60. Having a color screen and animation is great, but it seems all the frills just make the phone slower and more clumsy. Okay, camera and video is nice. Love the email client. And it is very light. The volume on the earpiece is soooooo low, I have to jam the phone in my ear to hear a caller's voice. I think I will take it back. Too bad, it's so pretty.
Excerpt: In this price range...it only has cons:
- Not bluetooth
- Still using serial cable?
- With IR can't share picture with friends
- No Speakerphone
- With video cature can't send it out thru mms or IR
- poor sms editor
- no extended memory card
