Summary: I got this phone in Nov '10&loved it. It worked fine up unitl Friday night(1/28/11). I tried to make a call and couldn't.Phone froze. I had to take out the battery and turn it on again. That helped for a minute. I wasn't getting or able to send text messages either. Then incoming calls started going straight to voicemail. I thought it was the Code but a friend of mine said his family,who all Metro,were having same problems with their phones.
Excerpt: I don't recomend this phone to anyone!!If you already buy it try to exchange it becasue in few days your phone will start to behave to bad that you will try to avoid using it at any cost as I do!Metro PCS service is the best you can get for so little, but this phone I don't recommend it at all, not even to my enemies.
Excerpt: this is a good phone but... i put an 8 gb memory card in it and everytime i want to play a song it takes like 20 seconds for the song to start .. then it keeps stopping during the whole song and it say buffering... its so annoying.. honestly its not worth the price i payed for it..
Summary: PLEASE HELP!!!! I love this phone BUT at night it automatically goes on a shut down mode thephone is actually powered ON but it does not except any calls!!!! Seems like around 10pm my phone doesn't take calls anymore. When I dail a number in the morning it will PROMPT me with a question that will ask if I would like to turn my phone ON!!!
Summary: I bought a code on Dec 9 from Best Buy. It was easy to activate but very hard to program. I just kept entering the numbers in, (**772…) and on the fourth day I finally got the numbers in. Once I started using the phone I noticed that, at times, when I pushed a key,(any key), the phone seemed to lock up for a few seconds then it put out several of the characters from that key. I thought it was something I was doing wrong, so I kept using it for about two weeks.
Summary: I like the phone but sometimes it heats up way too much!! I called Samsung and they were a bunch of dirtbags, said I had to send them the phone and it would take a couple weeks to check it out. Then I would be without a phone for a couple weeks. They weren't too concerned that this phone could heat up causing the battery to explode.
Summary: i just got the phone and i love it... my battery life is well i charge it for like an hour in a half or two no more (people pls quit charging your phone over night you are killing your phone) if you are having technical problems like it freezes or it resets your phone due the following 1- go to a corporate store and do a warranty swap or go to your phone insurance or simply contact samsung and let them fix it. the phone is great :) love it. email works wonderful...
