Summary: I looked forward to getting this phone, but my reaction is mixed. Pros: The screen is large and clear, the slide-out keyboard is easy to use, and the on-screen keyboard also is easy to use. The sound quality for making calls is very good. Texting is easy. Wi-Fi works very well. Other functions (calculator, calendar, recorder, memo, office tools) work well. Con: There are two major problems. First, connecting the phone to the computer to transfer files is a problem.
Summary: We have had this phone since Dec 2012. Recently it came up asking for a network unlock code. I call them and they would look for the unlock code. Since it was not a recent purchase they had to do some looking. It took 3 days plus a weekend, but they did come up with the correct code the first time. They did not try to blow me off or anything.
Summary: So far, I'm enjoying the Captivate Glide -- although a salesman at the AT&T Store made fun of it as an "old phone." Not old to me. The keyboard is much more useful and less error-prone than trying to type on the touchscreen. The same AT&T salesman said that phones with qwerty keyboards are going to disappear, so maybe I'll buy a second one of these as a backup. Anyway, it comes loaded with lots of apps and lists of more from the Android store. Camera works well.
Summary: it's a perfect phone i have ever used. The displayed key board got my attention at first, when seaching for phone on eBay because l love texting. I would say,it is easy to use, great for chatting, messaging and email, the 8mp camera is perfect and most importantly the features are execllent but the battery life is not strong, when some features are turned on. Apart from the battery life, it is a good value for the money.
Summary: Bought this phone to replace a lost phone. Was amazed at the excellent condition. Have been using this model for over a year now. It's a great phone especially for those who like a physical slider keyboard. It will upgrade to the latest version of Android. Works well, nice design, sharp display, good but not great camera.
I absolutely love this phone but it has its issues

Summary: I bought this phone around October (with rush order to replace my pervious phone, which was knock off brand phone). My first impression of the phone is pretty great. I wanted something smaller (since my previous phone had a 5.3 inch display) but I didn't want it to be too small. I love the look and feel of the phone. I have dropped it several times and it has not scratched or broken in anyway (though I do have a case).

Summary: If it continues to perform as it has for the past 24 hours I will change the rating to 5 stars. It not... well you know what I'll do. Seriously this seems to be at least equal in quality to Samsung's other cell phones, and better than most others. Samsung is, in my opinion, is among the best in the world. Yes, there are others but for an unlocked fully featured phone this is truly excellent. I would definitely recommend it to a friend, especially at this price.

Summary: My wife loves the phone. Our three-year-old Samsung S died,, and I ordered this one. I just forgot to check its original carrier. It is for AT&T. We have T-Mobile. Nevertheless, it works fine. All of our services work with this phone. I just wish AT&T would make it easier to fully detach equipment from their system. If you buy this, and you have T-Mobile, you should have no problems that a trip to the T-Mobile store will not solve.
