Excerpt: Seriously i dont have it, but i wanted to post this review. I m totally mad for buyin this phone , its just rockin, i had Samsung xplorer b2121, also known as samsung marine, the 2 phones r just the same, but the diffrence is xcover is a upgraded version of marine. So best of luck whoever buyz it will surely like it. see ya!
Pros: Every thing it has, Solid, Extreme torch, Still clear mp3 sound, Everything of it for me.
Excerpt: Just got this phone because I have a tendency to kill all other phones with depressing frequency. Initial thoughts are that it is well made. The screen is a decent size for a candy bar type. the keys are very responsive and easy to type with. The camera is ok but then thats not what I got the phone for. I wanted a waterproof phone and I hope it works that way! There is the usual MP player, radio and internet access.
Excerpt: The Xcover 2 upgrades the specs of its predecessor, and throws in some neat features, like a dedicated shutter key and an Aqua mode in the camera interface that lets you shoot underwater without special housing.
Pros: Good manufacturing, Fit for outdoor use, Bright display, High contrast, Quick internal memory, Practical speaker,Rugged yet ergonomic waterproof handset, Good picture and video quality
Cons: Relatively heavy, Only 4 GB internal memory, Poor quality front camera, Outdoor screen visibility could be better, No ambient light sensor, No second mic for noise cancellation is a challenge outdoors. Poor battery life.
Summary: I bought this because I did not want a flimsy Touch Screen phone they are too fiddly and a real pain outdoors in the rain. This phone is great dust proof and water proof (have not tried the waterproof claim yet) but no problem in a dusty environment. The keys are a good size and can be used with work gloves on.
Summary: Only works with uk Sim cards. The back clasp is not very efficient as the first phone I had to send back because when i opened the back the clasp came loose and so the phone was no longer waterproof
Summary: I bought this phone as an antidote to the mass of touch screen phones on the market which don't suit my outdoor lifestyle. Going back to an old school phone with it's much vaunted toughness and long battery life fitted the bill. However the catch which secures the backplate to the main body of the phone is poorly designed and keeps working loose. Mine did work loose and the backplate was damaged.
Summary: I bought this phone to replace an old Nokia which had fairly limited battery life, and would fill up with condensation when walking in the hills. This with a reasonable memory card, has lots of available memory, what feels like a good user interface (in the few weeks I've been using it). Very positive action from the keypad, and this is at the level where you could probably operate it while wearing light weight gloves.
Summary: Good looking phone - nice to hold but when you set your different tones for different reasons then plays once and then it goes back to default. Have spoken to someone else who has same phone and their's does the same. so BEWARE.
Summary: Unfortunately this mobile telephone was quite unusable for me. The quality of received sound was very poor... muffled and distorted.... that is, very lacking in the sibilants that make speech intelligible. For this reason the item was returned for a full refund, which was graciously provided by the Amazon Marketplace seller without quibble. Return postage was also dealt with smoothly by the package being collected from my door.
