Summary: Beware even though this is advertised as Sapphire Blue it is not. I ordered two they both were black. Sent them back and ordered the blue ones again, received black phones again. If you want a blue phone do not order these.
Summary: The battery life in this phone just does not last at all. Sometimes not even for a few hours. There is a general defect in the manufacturing of this product that Samsung does not seem to want to address. This is the second phone that I have bought of this model and both have the same problems. It really is too bad because if it worked as advertised it would be a great phone. This is a really good phone, it just does not work.
Summary: My first Brightside was doing fine until both the back and end button stopped working. I was given a free phone which worked for 10 months and the same thing happened. Hoping it lasted a few days until I could go to the Verizon store, it started glitching every time I typed and then finally was completely static-y and unusable. If you are looking for a phone to hold up, this is not that phone. It only continues to work if hardly touched.
The texting works and the phone recieves calls but you can't verbally communicate using this phone.

Summary: The texting works but talking to someone does not. I can hear people but they cannot hear me making it difficult to use this phone when calling people that do not have texting on their phone such as my Grandparents..
Summary: I wish so much that I never got this phone. The screen is oversensitive sometimes where it will bring up apps on its own, take pictures with barely touching it, etc. Then other times when I am trying to send a text and you type in the first couple of letters and it brings up a choice for you, then I have to touch it like 4 times before it finally realizes it! It will dial numbers on it's own in your pocket. The battery from day one is only good for 2 days maximum.
Pros: Bright display, nice keyboard
Cons: Did not meet expectations, unpredictable touch screen, ugly menu background color, short battery life
Summary: I am having a hard time finding any good apps for this phone. Also, It dials and goes to browser on it's own; even if it is just sitting on the table. It also shuts down on it's own a lot. I would like to upgrade but was told that I couldn't until my 2 year contract is up? Not sure if that is true...still looking into it. Gotta get a different phone. This one does not do enough for me! Willing to try another Samsung...I think this one was a mistake.
Cons: Poor quality, Too big, Did not meet expectations, few accessories
Summary: The volume button on the side keeps getting bumped and you can't lock it, so you can turn the volume to nothing and not know it if you don't look at the screen and see the icon. When sliding open it is very easy to let the thumb slip, touch and icon and you're off to where ever. The worst thing is that with just a couple of tweaks from Samsung all of this could be fixed. Also I getting requests from other companies about trying things I don't want.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display
Cons: Did not meet expectations, can't lock buttons
Summary: The phone looks nice, and has a bright display with decent size for the buttons on the slide-out QWERTY, and the sound quality is good. The phone is durable and the the screen does not get many scratches. But that is all that is good with this phone. It contantly unlocks by itself. I have learned to never keep this phone in my pocket, because this phone will send calls to anyone on my contact list. If it is not sending calls, it is getting on the internet.
Pros: Durable, Lightweight
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, unlocks
