It's So Windows

Excerpt: It came with WM5, which was balky. An upgrade to much-delayed WM6 made it even more so. It looses connection to the internet and stops accepting/allowing calls at least once a day. Here comes the solution ... reboot!
Excerpt: Its small, and cool looking, but once you get past that, there isn't much there. The buttons are so small I kept mistyping, the browser makes it hard to leave the Cingular "walled garden", and the earphone plug is proprietary (and they don't include headphones with the phone.) Also, the only way to get it to sync with a Mac is to buy third party software, put the phone in "airplane mode" ie "no phone service", and then sync it.
Overall, not a great phone or PDA...if you like slow, buy it.

Excerpt: The Samsung BlackJack is a decent smart phone. It is very entry-level in this competitive market. It is slow, small, and frustrating. If you would rather have a phone to play with, this is it, but if you want a smart phone to use for business applications, look elsewhere.
Excerpt: I am not a big fan of samsung, but their designs on phones always catches my attention and i am a fool for falling into their trap of a crappy phone again. The samsung blackjack comes with an extended battery, which is a plus if you are a mobile internet user. I had this phone for nearly 2 year and after a long time of use the charging part of the phone will not work, luckily it came with an alternative battery charger (it's like the samsung company knew beforehand that...
Excerpt: A friend of mine wanted to get rid of their Samsung Blackjack. They gave it to me, because I had wanted to be able to syncronize with my Microsoft Outlook contact list. I tried this phone out for about 2 months and still use it occasionally to make sure that I give the Samsung Blackjack a fair shake. It consistently drops calls and is often very difficult to use.
Excerpt: I have used this phone for several months and i can tell just from this short amount of time that this is a Very very glitchy and un reliable phone. i use this alarm clock on this thing and from what i can see sometimes the alarm does not even go off! i wake up late because of this thing at least once a week. the phone itself turns off very often. Texting is slow as it can get. the camera on this thing is also very laggy.
Summary: WIRELESS COMMUNICATION LOCKED UP AFTER A FEW MINUTES AFTER SET UP. THE PHONE WAS SUPPOSED TO BE UNLOCKED FOR ANY GSM CARRY. NOT SO!! "PHONE OFF" APPEARS WITH NO SIGNAL TO ANY CARRIER AT ALL. CALLED T-MOBILE BUT COULD NOT GET PHONE STARTED AGAIN. THE PHONE CANNOT BE RESET TO "PHONE ON". I CANNOT USE THE PHONE AT ALL. POWER COMES ON BUT DOES NOT ALLOW NEITHER TEXT OR VOICE CALLS. LOUSY PHONE. NEVER BUY ONE.
Excerpt: I have owned the Samsung BlackJack for a little over a year now. And it has been a disaster. I purchased it based, stupidly, on the advertising. Not the cash back offer. Not the features mind you. The cool CGI. I’d been dying to upgrade from a standard cellular phone to a smart phone for some time. I walked into the AT&T store, looked at it for a few minutes, and put it on my card. And it was a mistake.
