Samsung Blackjack 2

Anthony Barrick, REVIEW STREAM

  • Excerpt: I recently just purchased a new cell phone call the blackjack 2. This phone is an AT&T exclusive. the phone comes in black or wine red. I have a wine red version and love it. The front of the phone is plastic and the back of the phone is vinyl leather. The front of the phone has a D. pad and a full keyboard, however I found a keyboard buttons to very small. the screen is really nice size taking up half of the phone.

Samsung Blackjack II

Noah Hoffer, REVIEW STREAM

  • Excerpt: Just over a month ago I decided to upgrade from my Samsung Blackjack to the Blackjack II. The original Blackjack was a great phone with plenty of features for its time, but it’s over 3 years old and has now become outdated. The Blackjack II has many of the same features as the original Blackjack such as a backlit QWERTY keyboard, Windows Mobile 6, 2 megapixle camera, and more. In my opinion the beast new feature on the Blackjack II is the built in GPS.

Samsung Black Jack Cellular Phone

Leviathan, REVIEW STREAM

  • Excerpt: Here it is: a small, thin and sexy-looking smart phone that feels like a cell phone thanks to its size. It is just nice and comfortable to hold this phone in one’s hand. The Samsung Black Jack looked good under the glass in the store. But then I began to use it. The first thing I pay attention to is the display. It is all-right: not really big, but bright and I can see both the text and the video equally well there.

  • Summary: I have purchased a samsung blackjack in the past and was extremely happy with product. The only thing I did find to be hard to do was put it in my pants pocket. I would purchase this phone again. I loved how wide the screen was on the phone it made web browsering easier for me. I would recommend the phone for people who don't carry in their pockets.

  • Summary: The original Samsung SGH-i607 BlackJack was a great phone that was hampered by pretty poor battery life, like many of the thin QWERTY equipped smartphones of the past

"The worst phone I have ever owned"

aussiej, CNET
10 September 2012
  • Pros: Sound qulity is good.
  • Cons: Battery barely lasted a day when I got it and got steadily worse. Back cover disintergrated. Wheel in centre is really annoying. Smart texting is dumb. Replaces words when I don't want it to. Won't capitalise automatically when using a '.

Blackjack II: My New Best Friend

  • Excerpt: I'm a very unorganized person but my Blackjack II is changing this for me.  It does everything!  It can use it for phone, email, texting, a camera, a camcorder, a calendar (that reminds me 15 minutes beforehand of appointments), a GPS...the list goes on.  If I ever lose it or break it, I won't be able to make it through the day...I'll just have to stay home in bed.

Not bad.

  • Excerpt: The Samsung BlackJack II is a nice smartphone, but it does have its limitations. It runs windows mobile 6 and much like all things windows, tends to crash frequently. Seems you have to restart the phone daily as sometimes when using internet explorer, it crashes.
