Summary: I didn't like this phone and ended up selling it because you can't use some of the functions without a data plan. I bought it for the camera and never ended up using it. It may be a very good phone if you want a data plan.
"Pretty but the longer i have it the more problems"
4 July 2010
Pros: like i said, love the packaging, the overall idea...the droid apps are the greatest and so so many
Cons: I've had it wipe out my memory card, this time it just plain won't connect with the server...t-mobile...and i know its the phone cause i put the sim in one of my antiques and it works...least i can talk while i await my new one
Pros: When it function of course.......very beautiful LOED screen but doesn't standout any more really than say a MyTouch. Very nice camera with a super bright flash. Video recording is long and great quality. Holds a lot of text threads.
Cons: *Takes deep breath* Phone has atrocious battery time....worsens over time. Randomly calls people (all three phones did this) Not very attractive for a smartphone. Internet browsing is very slow. Dropped calls galore. EXTREMELY slow response time.
"DO NOT BUY until Samsung releases Android 2.1 update."
11 May 2010
Pros: Screen, Camera
Cons: Everything else. Battery life, slow running OS, overloaded with useless Touchwizz junk, takes to lond to aquire gps signal, outdated firmware and Samsung is in no rush to release the update, phone resets and shuts off by itself, the list is long.
Pros: Multi-Screens lets u customize your Widgets to preference, and with the variety of Applications it Turns the Phone into an everyday TOOL for Kids as Well as Adults. THe Activity Bar is a great App. Android Market has an App. for almost Every Need.
Cons: The FACT that SAMSUNG has yet to CREATE a "DRIVER" for WindOws 7 LIMITS the POTENTIAL this phone can have. The INABILITY to TRANSFER files such as Pictures, Music, & Videos takes away the FREEDOM to PERSONLIZE a phone that COST So MuCH.
