Excerpt: I finally dipped into the smartphone market several months ago. I got the Samsung Behold II despite it having mixed reviews. I should have listened to the reviews and kept looking. I can't totally toss the thing in the trash as it does have a few good points, but you have to weigh the good and the bad for what suits you. the Pros: Cons: I have tried the Samsung Behold II, and I am not very happy with it.
Excerpt: This smart phone caught my attention when i was browsing a ton of smart phones that T-mobile provided 6 months ago. I personally like light and small phones. For a touch screen phone, Samsung behold II has a perfect size for my hand to hold and type. It has three desktops to display different widgets and apps, very convenient. Also, as an android phone, it has a set of google apps, which i like very much, like Google sky map, Google maps, gmail, and so on.
Excerpt: The Samsung Behold 2 has very nice features, such Android operating system. The main problem with this phone is that when introduced, they promised that the 1.5 OS would be later upgraded to 2.x. Now they are going back on it and abandoning it for the newer phone Galaxy S. I have been a loyal customer to Samsung for a long time, but this time, after buying two of these when I got my new cell carrier, I will never buy another product from Samsung.
Excerpt: This is a great smartphone for a busy mom. I love that I can add the Google calendar widget that syncs with my Google account. I have my agenda (and email) where ever I go. I also have a to-do list that will nag me until things get done, and a notes app that also has been really handy. It comes with a 5 megapixel camera which is great. The keyboard is on screen which took a little while for me to get used to but now I like it.
Excerpt: The best thing about this phone is the camera, it takes great pictures. I have had problems with it here and there. I've have had to have my cell phone company replace this phone 3 times with a new behold II due to the amount of problems I was having. It did do things such as erase pictures from my phone, freeze up, and not ring when I received calls. Which I later found out was because my phones software was not updated.
Summary: I bought this advertised as 'New - Never Opened'. Well, it wasn't because I found food crumbs in the battery compartment and wipe marks on the back cover. Now, on to the good points... This Android phone has one of the best battery lives I have experienced - I can go 2 full days + with average talk, data and texting. With just talk and no data or texting, I can easily get 6 days without charging.
