OK phone for temporary use

Summary: Bought this as a phone to have for use during international travel. We travel to Israel regularly as our daughter lives there and decided it would be cheapest to own a phone that we can just buy a Sim card for while there. We figured we could also use it if we travel to other countries. The phone basically worked fine for calls and texting. Nothing fancy. It is not a smart phone, which we knew. It was easy enough to figure out how to use it.
Very good for the cost, texting area not so hot though.

Summary: I ordered this as a replacement for a, I can't even use the words here, ATT GoPhone. The touch screen is nice, and it's super touchy to use. The slide function for the keyboard is good, but I have a hard time texting with the letters spaced so far apart. I also have to press down hard to type and end up making a large deal of errors while texting. My texting speed has also slowed down. However, for the cost, it's a good replacement.
Summary: This phone has a great music player and looks nice but it has limited abilities. You can't watch youtube or anything requiring flash. If you are using TMobile network, then you have to use 2G!!! It is ok as long as you don't mind the limited abilities. Samsung could have done better than this. I bought this phone a few years back. I beeeeen got rid of this phone. I think I only had it 6 months.
Excerpt: I bought this phone in Feb. 2010, for a couple of months it seemed working fine, except few issues like calling the numbers from recently dialed numbers again and again, getting unlocked itself etc.. But after one year there are vary major problems in this phone. Sometimes its key stops working, it restarts automatically even during a call and many other issues. So my suggestion would be never buy this phone.
Summary: The phone is very nice, although the MMS feature does not work in the United States. The phone is very light and sturdy but is kinda hard to text on since the qwerty key pad is very close together but other than those few things i like the phone.
Excerpt: Well I had this phone for about a week and am just not very happy with it. There are two major downfalls. The first of which is the locking system. You can lock the phone so the touch doesn't come on but to unlock it you can either hold in a button on the side of the phone or touch a button on the screen... If you have it in your pocket your phone will constantly become unlocked and buttons will be being pushed as you walk around.
Pros: Looks cool, Inexpensive... but STILL not worth it.
Cons: Terrible locking system, becomes unlocked in pocket, Vibration way too weak for text messages you can't feel it or even hear it if it is on a solid surface in front of you
Excerpt: i just had one i really regret of having this... i cant get to wifi connection.... i cant open the browser and downloads...it seems that i was just wasting my money buying this phone because i was after of the wifi features but i cant connect it and i still used my pc instead to check my emails
Excerpt: this phone doesn't come with a new sim card, a memory card and a stylus. the battery is a total piece of crap! it says it's full and the next minute it turns off automatically saying low battery.this phone only looks good and has some good features but that's pretty much it
Pros: LOOKS GOOD, NICE FEATURES, HAS EARPHONES
Cons: BATTERY LIFE, NO SIM, NO MEMORY CARD, NO STYLUS
Excerpt: Well .... as a phone ... When you open the slider (for keyboard access) the phone unlocks...somehow, I keep making phone calls I don't want to make just by having the phone in my pocket ..i.e. wish there was a better locking mechanism ... you would think that button on side for 5 seconds or button on screen would be be fine but ... maybe I'm sliding the phone as per accessing keyboard and this is unlocking phone in pocket ...
Pros: keyboard is good for texting
Cons: making phone calls without touching the phone ... just having phone in my pocket
Excerpt: This is not good phone at all. Since in the past 4 days of owning it, i have nothing but dropped calls. Before i had an LG cookie, and absolutley loved it. Never any dropped calls, especially in the same area, internet is a joke, and it takes horrible pics. Too heavy and bulky Keypads are too small, you would need stick fingers just to text on it. I couldn't even get a certain file a friend tried to send to me from her phone.
Pros: Loud speaker, Loud ringtones, Touch screen is good
Cons: Too big and bulky, Too heavy, keypads are too small, Too complicated, Does not accept certain files to well from other phones
