I feel like I'm holding a brick.

  • Excerpt: This phone has a lot of cool features, the best being able to flip from a phone to a computer keyboard. The keypad changes from qwerty to numerical to symbols. It does have internet access, but is somewhat limited as I often get error messages stating "page too large to display", etc. Texting is easy and has a separate button to go right to text format. The contact list is accessable for text, phone and email.

FUN PHONE, TERRIBLE CAMERA

  • Excerpt: I have this phone and thought it was the greatest when I got it. I loved how you could use it like a regular phone or go flip it sideways and text on a keyboard. I love my keyboard to text I can't seem to text the other way as fast as my 15 year old can. The only thing I do not like is the camera, the pictures are just not that great of quality.

Samsung needs to invent a waterproof cell phone

  • Excerpt: Samsung cell phones have been my first choice for their easy menue choices and full range of services I need to for day to day life.  I'd bet they become the first cell phone manufacturer to develop a waterproof cell phone.  That would put them over the top!

The Samsung Alias is a nice design with some unfortunate flaws.

  • Excerpt: I was pretty excited when I first got this phone - mainly because it comes with a full QWERTY keyboard.  And don't get me wrong; if you text a lot, the QWERTY keyboard is fantastic. Unfortunately, there are some problems with this phone.  In terms of design, the swivelling screen that allows you to view it vertically or horizontally is pretty fancy, but the phone is a little too long for my face when it's opened vertically.

THE ALIAS IS GREAT FOR TEXTING.

  • Excerpt: the samsung alias is a very good phone for medium to intermediate texters. the keyboard is slightly small for my fingers but if you have fairly small fingers this does not matter. the camera is one of the owrst things because it does not have a zoom unless you take very low resolution pictures. a very good advantage to texting on this phone is the voice input mode which allows you to speak and the speaker will interpet what you say and write it down.

Alias swivel into my heart :)

  • Excerpt: The SamsungAlias from Verizon Wireless is a good step up from the my old LG Chocolate 2 because the model convert into a full keyboard for fully functional texts/messaging. Its exterior is sleek, thin, and stylish for on the go travel with suitable taste. The swivel screen on the phone makes the Alias vertsile but classic in its own way. You have the options of flipping your phone up to answer a call or flipping it sideways to have a call on speaker.

Samsung Alias is a decent phone.

  • Excerpt: The Samsung Alias is a pretty good phone.  I do like that the Alias opens like a "normal" flip phone, and also folds open sideways for easy texting.  It is light weight, fits inside your pocket or purse easily.  The Alias is pretty durable.  I've dropped it a bunch of times, and it still works fine.  My only complaint is that after using the phone for eight months, I started having problems with the main screen and also the front screen.

The Samsung Alias is a decent phone for basic non-internet use.

  • Excerpt: So I have  been using the Samsung Alias for over a year now and I have a few things to comment about it. First I will say that it is a good phone for texting because it has a nice keypad with actual buttons, unlike the iphone and many other new smartphones which have touchscreen keypads. So if you are texting all day, this is a good phone for you. You can use it for texting both in normal mode and flipped to the qwerty keyboard which is better for texting.
