Excerpt: Ok so I got this phone from Verizon Wireless about a year ago because they were giving them away and I figured why not. I needed a phone with a qwerty keyboard and you cant beat free. If only I had known the issues with this phone beforehand and I would have bought a phone of better quality. The first problem with the phone was it would sometimes reboot itself when I would receive a text, then it started freezing up when I would send a text.
Excerpt: This phone has cool features but I wouldnt recommend this phone to anyone who uses it frequently. It cuts off often. The texting features are awesome but thats about it. The piece that allows the phone to open both ways, if you hit it or tap it the phone cuts off. It must disconnect on the inside. You'll be in the middle of a phone call and it will cut off. Or you will send a text and go to set the phone down and the phone shuts off.
Excerpt: I've had this phone for 3 years now and I hate this phone but at the same time I love it. I love the keyboard and how its easy to use, however its slow, it freezes, shuts off and restarts by itself, my alarms don't always go off, the vibration for one text with go on for a full minute, the battery life is awful, and the camera sucks. This phone is very durable, I drop it constantly and its still together, but the keyboard top has fallen off.
Pros: Keyboard, Easy access to pictures, texts, etc, durable
Cons: 2nd phone won't charge. I bought my first Samsung Alias 2 a year ago. Within a month it wouldn't charge. I brought it back to Verizon, after realizing there was a problem they replaced it. Lately I've been getting voice messages from a few different peopl
Summary: The Good - This is a nice phone and runs for about three days on a charge. I like the way the keyboard transforms when you open the cover to the side instead of the normal "phone" way. The BAD - With each passing day, I hate Verizon a little more. when I activated my phone, I was immediately enrolled in a "data plan" for an additional $10 per month. I wasn't asked if I wanted to enroll plan, they just started charging me.
Summary: The text functions are nice but I do not like the ring features/options of the phone I set the ring I want but it does it's own thing. The battery life is very short I have to charge it every eight hours or less with lest than ten minutes talk time and I folowed the initial charging instrctions.
Excerpt: had this phone for 24 hours Hinge is bulky and awkward Cannot keep up with texting-skips letters. This is not worth the required $ 10 data package. This phone gave me a headache, too slippery from the exterior, not comforable to flip or hold, e-ink eventually smears, and 4.5 ounces, really, verizon AND the screen tilt makes it impossible to read in daylight.
Pros: Text messages by contact, 2.0 mb camera
Cons: WORST to hold + flip, BAD TXT capabilities, e-ink wears down, data plan?-forget it
