Good 2012 Phone Replaced By Newer, Faster Models
Alan Houston, Amazon
28 January 2014
Summary: The Admire is a discontinued 2012 phone for MetroPcs's old CDMA network which is now being replaced by a newer, faster 4G LTE network that reaches triple the cities reached by the old network.
Summary: Not the worst phone I've ever had, but it's definitely not the best either. It was good for the first couple weeks, but it didn't take long before I was having complaints. It freezes and freaks out on an almost daily basis and drives me absolutely insane!
Summary: here are the problems I've experienced with this phone: sometimes for no reason at all, it turns off on me. sometimes, a .nomedia file will randomly appear in my music and videos folder, making it seem like my phone either deleted all my media or it can't read the files.
Summary: I'm not sure if it is a one time fluke of a situation but... I bought this as a replacement phone for my girlfriend who had the LG Optimus that Cricket had in its line up. It was delivered promptly and looked brand new in its package.
Summary: This device has a constant problem of dropping a call immediately after dialing. The screen says "disconnected" but you can still hear ringing / the person on the other end, but you cannot talk back or hang up. I sent the first one back and the replacement had the exact same problem.
Summary: I've had this phone for about ten months now and I have to get a new phone already. The battery life if horrible from the start. I work ten hour days and I'm lucky if it last through the day. It shuts off due to over heating which doesn't make it a reliable alarm clock either.
