Easy to use and understand--especially for the older generation...

Summary: I'm one of those 50-plus year old guys that likes simplicity with a phone...I bought a 'windows' phone and was aggravated with it from the beginning! (I had dropped the SGH-A827 into the water bucket at the gas station) Upon giving the 'windows' phone to my daughter, I went and bought another Samsung SGH-A827 and love it! Easy to use and understand. Nice screen size and you can get them used for around $ 40.
Summary: Its not that bad at all. The only thing is that it seems kind of big especially now that we have smartphones that are smaller or the same size packed with a lot of features. This phone gets the job done.
Summary: Overall it is an excellent phone. I have had it for the past 3 weeks and I have only found one very minor fault with it. The vibration when you put it on silent vibration mode is on the weak side. This can also be a plus in some cases because, I have had other phones that you could hear vibrating away and I would have to put them on silent mode. It is very user friendly, simple to operate with outstanging reception and good speakerphone. The camera is excellent aswell.
Summary: The Samsung SGH A827 has very good reception compared to the other phones I have used. With my other phones, many times I would have to go outside of house to talk. With this phone, there is no problem.
