The Sagem PUMA is a mobile phone that supports 2G Network for GSM 900 / 1800 / 1900 and HSDPA 900 / 2100 3G network. Designed in a 102 x 56 x 13 mm/115 g form factor that sports a 2.8 inch TFT resistive touchscreen, 256K colors support, 240 x 320 pixels resolution, an accelerometer sensor for auto-rotate and digital compass, the mobile phone supports 64 polyphonic ringtones, speaker phone, a phonebook, call records (20 dialed, 20 received, 20 missed calls), a microSD card slot with up to 8GB supported (2GB included); and supports GPRS Class 12 (4+1/3+2/2+3/1+4 slots), 32 - 48 Gbps/EDGE Class 12/3G HSDPA 7.2 Mbps; HSUPA 2.9 Mbps data transfer rates. Other features on the Sagem PUMA include Bluetooth® v2.1 with A2DP support, USB v2.0 interface, a 3.15 MP, 2048 x 1536 pixels camera with LED flash and geo-tagging capabilities. The camera also supports VGA video recording.

The Puma Phone is designed with red UI that uses huge, bold icons and features Puma-centric functions, such as links to Puma’s news feed, which focuses on the company’s sponsored athletes, such as Olympic sprinting god Usain Bolt. The 2.8-inch capacitive touchscreen is featured prominently on the face of the Puma Phone, while the back features a 3.2-megapixel camera with an LED photo light. It also has a smaller secondary VGA camera on the front for video calling. It is a 3G mobile phone that supports SMS, MMS, Email and IM functions and allows users to surf the internet via its WAP 2.0/xHTML, HTML browser. It also features a stereo FM radio with RDS, games, GPS with A-GPS support, Java MIDP 2.0 with integrated solar cell with charge indicator, Bike Tracker, Run Tracker, Pedometer; PUMA services; Eco-friendly box; an MP3/WMA/eAAC+ player; an MP4/H.263/H.264 player, an organizer and T9 predictive text function. It is powered by a Li-Ion 880 mAh battery that provides users with up to 350 hours of standby time and up to 5 hours (2G) / Up to 4 hours (3G) of talk time. It provides users with up to 24 hours of music playback time.
