Summary: I really like the blackberry, so I was hoping when I received the one I ordered that I would just put it together and start using it. Well when I got the phone, it didn't have a battery and I wasn't even notified by the seller, I had to email them and ask why there was no battery and the speaker on the phone sounds distorted or something.
Summary: BlackBerry Bold 9000 Unlocked Phone with 2 MP Camera, 3G, Wi-Fi, gps navigation, and MicroSD Slot--International Version with No Warranty (Black) I've received this phone with a non blackberry branded battery! A fake one that do not work for more than 20 hours on stand by! That is not possible! The phone is fine but with this battery it doesn't look like a mobile phone because I need to keep it charging every time.
Excerpt: this phone i can say from the bottom of my heart that it SUCKSS!!!!! it is the worst phone i the world everyonr says blackberry are cool and smart but i disagree this phone is mentally confused i throw it down once and it completly froze . i had to take out the battery and put it back in for it to fuction again ! i spent $600 on a piece of crap plus thee data plan whick really sucks .
Pros: nothing nada zip zero
Cons: everything anything you say this phones has a problem with !
Excerpt: I am still not sure if it is the phone or the ATT network. I am on my 3rd phone. Dropped calls on 3g and "2g". Setting the phone from 2g and 3g to 2g help reduced the dropped calls from 3-4 a day to 1 a day. The dropped calls follow no pattern. I was standing outside the terminal at LAX with fill 3g bars. The phone dropped to 1 bar, "call failed" box popped and stayed that way frozen. I had to take the battery out and it took 10 min for the phone to reboot.
Summary: I've had a problem with the Bold since day 1. I've gone through three devices and still have the problem. My phone is echoey, bad service, misses calls, drops calls. It was barely usable. I hated it (still do) until I figured out how to mitigate the problem.
I'm a heavy user of my mobile devices. I put several applications on it that I require. Google maps for directions, eWallet for passwords...actually..that's all I need. I text message a ton, email a ton.
Excerpt: Pros & Cons, Great speakers Over all a good phone, this is my 4th bold. I had to return the first 3 because of software problems. Which I think was AT&T's problem? Had this one since Jan. 09. Too many dropped calls. E mail sometimes don't come to my Bold. Yesterday I had an e mail that took 17 hours to come to the Bold. Tried to get a replacement from AT&T but they could not transfer data to the rebuilt Bold they were going to exchange it with.
