I love it. Great value for money as phones are expensive these days.

  • Summary: I purchased a used one here on eBay. I really like it, except I couldn't set up my voicemail on the used one so I bought a brand new one. It's a great texting and calling phone and the ring tones are pretty loud so that you can hear them if you are hard of hearing. The batter life is about average if you text and call a lot. Will last about 8-10 hrs.

Overall a great phone for my needs!

  • Summary: This phone is perfect for my needs. I basically wanted a phone to text and call, this performs these functions perfectly. The quality of the phone is pretty good and the screen is very bright. I can not say that at this point I have any negatives about it. It's not a smartphone but has the capability of getting on facebook and some other sites, I have not used this feature though. The battery lasts a long time and I have actually gone about two days without charging it.

  • Summary: I don't use it for surfing the internet or anything, so far no problems have arisen. The only thing I noticed is that the battery gets run down, but all I do is text on it.

Message Alert Volume Is Faulty

MikeD7, Wireless AT&T
20 August 2013
  • Summary: Overall, the Pantech Renue is a very good messaging phone! It replaced my Nokia 6350. However, the Message Alert Volume remains "low" even after adjusting the volume to a "higher" setting. In other words, when you change the volume setting to 7, and change the setting from the General Screen to 7, the volume remains "low" when receiving a text. I've tried 3 phones and they have the same problem. I just placed an order for my 4th phone. Hopefully, it will work correctly!
  • Pros: nice clear display. , easy to use. , compact. , great features.
  • Cons: mesage alert volume remains very low.

Very good first phone.

  • Summary: This phone has several good points to it. For instance, it is very easy to use while texting, and it was designed in a way that makes it very good at rolling. I was standing at the top of a hill when my friend decided to throw his phone. Not wanting to be left out, I threw my phone, and it rolled at least 50 yards before it stopped. When I checked to see if anything was broken, I was amazed to see that it had only picked up a small amount of dirt.
  • Pros: excellent rolling abilities
  • Cons: you can't zoom the camera on its' highest quality.

Great phone for non data plan users

ratchetlee, Ebay
6 June 2013
  • Summary: THis phone is perfect for me. I only wanted one with easy texting ability and phone. I wanted a phone that had features but didn't require the data plan. This phone fits perfectly. The battery life is very short so that is one of my complaints.

Pretty decent phone

  • Summary: I had a dinosaur phone before buying this one. I'm not much on phones and the tech stuff like apps. But it's a good phone I think. It has a sliding keyboard and touch screen as well. I would recommend it if you want a phone to talk and text. It does have internet but I don't use it. I don't know how the GPS is either. I don't use internet because I'm cheap and it costs more money.. Dang you att! I do like the service just not the prices like the bill and activation fees.
  • Pros: sliding keyboard , touch screen is nice
  • Cons: no wifi , battery life is somewhat short , the screen can be combersome at times

4 Star Phone

feather634, Wireless AT&T
24 March 2013
  • Summary: The only problem with this phone is the battery. I don't have to use the internet and the battery still drains quickly. The camera is ok. No flash and you can't zoom before you take the picture. Dropped the phone a few times and phone held up well.
