Summary: This phone can become annoying if you are looking for lots of add-ons to your phone. It allows for much of the basics, ranging from text messaging with pics to listening to music. I bought it because there wasn't a required data plan attached to it (I use it as a phone, not an internet access device). Some of the "user friendly" tools one uses to personalize contacts or settings on the phone is missing. You can't attach specific tones to contacts.
Summary: I have found this phone to be great at texting and calling, however do not expect to surf the web on it. The browser is slow and doesn't always render pages. If you want to check email, facebook or twitter than it does fine, but there is no instagram, iheartradio or pandora. The design of the device is fairly good, small enough to take anywhere but durable enough that you dont have to worry about breaking it.
Pros: good camera , good music player , good battery life , good keyboard
Cons: low resolution screen , app store is expensive , web is slow and doesn't render most pages
Summary: Good very basic phone. It looks like a smartphone. Camera isn't so good. If you text a lot I would not recommend this. It only allows you to have 300 messages at a time so it seems like I am constantly deleting important messages that I need to keep.
Pros: good display , easy texting
Cons: bad camera quality , bad battery life , minimal amount of messages
Good phone for texting and talking but some features are lacking

Summary: I did not have a data plan with this phone. The ringtones on the phone are not very good so I tried to load just 2 or 3 songs, from my son's micro sd chip, to use as ring tones but could not get the music to load to the phone. Other option - buy ringtones. I am a big Calendar user and I use the reminder alerts. This phone doesn't give a lot of reminder time options.
Pros: size , bluetooth , durable backing
Cons: battery life not as long as expected , couldn't get music to save on phone from micro sd
Summary: Well, I love how customizable the phone is, but my only complaint is the batter life! like While i'm in school i text OCCASIONALY but by the end of the day i had 2 bars, then when i got home i made one phone call that lasted less than five minutes and then i had ONE bar. like the standby is supposed to be some amount of days, more like 24 hours i KEEP my phone in powersave mode just so that i can have more battery. but other than that i LOVE my Pantech Renue.
Summary: I am not really impressed w/ this particular phone. One thing that is irritating is that you always have to have a "password" for voicemail, very stupid! Txt'ing is adequate, but downloads for ringtones ,specifically for college fight songs, not user friendly IF at all possible. This would be a pretty good "starter" phone , but once one has had a smart phone, all else pales in comparison.
Pros: good screen view , txt'ing is pretty good , reception is much better than my old smart phone
Cons: battery standby not what it claims to be , icons make it feel like an '80's computer
Excerpt: My mother, myself, and my daughter all bought this phone and we are sending them back. We loose service for long periods of time, when we send or receive pictures we can not open them because they show up as broken messages. When we do have service it is very low quality. I would rather go back to my Samsung solstice then keep this phone.
Pros: nice keyboard
Cons: no multi tasking, loss of service, battery life is short
