Excerpt: BACKGROUND I got the Pantech Pursuit at my local AT&T in October of 2010. My old cell phone's carrier went out of service in my area (I wasn't complaining-it was horrible), so I needed something new. I wasn't terribly picky; I just wanted a phone with a slide-out QWERTY keyboard to make texting easier. After 15 minutes of searching, it came down to the Ease or the Pursuit. Since the Pursuit was $20 cheaper, I ultimately went with it.
Excerpt: My old phone, the Palm Centro, died on me and I had to replace it. The pantech pursuit was the one that caught my eye after a few visits to the store. I wish it didn't. This phone is good for the basic needs but it can be very difficult to use sometimes. This phone has a sliding keyboard with a touch screen. The keyboard is easy to use and very convenient.
Pros: -Great keyboard like I said -Quite small so easily fits in your pocket -Multitasking feature is very useful -For a 2 megapixel camera, it takes decent pictures -Micro SD card slot is also a useful feature
Cons: -Keyboard adds a lot of weight to the phone and it isn't very slim either -Screen is too small -Touch screen gets a little frustrating -Call quality and signals are terrible because it's on AT&T -Battery life is horrible -Very less customization
Summary: I loved the idea of some of the features of this phone~which is why I bought it. The functionality of the features I thought so cool however, isn't the greatest. The phone's design makes it easy to drop or slip out of your hands. It's hard to text on in that there are no arrow keys. The cover for the battery compartment is a very flimsy piece of plastic with moisture detector dots directly underneath. I had my razor for 5 years without any moisture damage.
Excerpt: There are many “apps” on it that I still do not know how to use. I basically just use the phone and text features, and I like the clock feature, but sometimes the big clock goes away on its own and I’m left with the tiny clock that I have a hard time seeing even though I wear contacts. The big clock mysteriously reappears at some point but I have no idea how to get it to STAY THERE. I still like the color. The snazzy green is the best thing about this phone.
Pros: *Compact slide-out keyboard is easy to use; extremely easy to send texts. *Good sound quality *Decent camera quality. *Compact design makes it easy to fit into coat pockets.
Cons: *Design makes it hard to hold and easy to drop. *Touch screen is very finicky. *Lots of useless icons for apps I don't use (I don't have unlimited internet on my AT&T plan). *Easy to accidentally hang up calls. *Battery life is not too great.
