Excerpt: I had this phone for about 3 weeks with VZW. I loved it, the screen, the classic clamshell form with the extendable antenna, and of course, windows mobile. I really loved my phone, but love soon turned to sadness. My big complaint with the phone was battery life, it was awful, so I got an extended battery, and that improved a lot. But then, one evening without warning, I was unable to connect to the network to make calls.
Excerpt: it works like a charm! I was planning on getting a Motorola Q because my cousin had it and i had liked it, but when i went to get it the discount was gone so i went for this phone. It was the cheapest of the smart-phones on verizon's website, but it is much more than meets the eye. It is quick, has nice speaker-phone and bluetooth functions. The one bad part is that my battery is not holding its charge as long as i thought originally.
Excerpt: My boss tells me im going to need a smartphone starting next month. i think to my self "A smartphone? I've been using my Nokia flip phone for years..." i thought it would be costy. But then I came to a Verizon Store and a service rep showed a bunch of smartphones... old, new, mostly over $300. But then, at the last shelf, there was this phone. it sat there, and i love the idea of flip phones. touchscreens are hard for me to use. i asked "how much?
Pros: CHEAP!, Windows Mobile, Camera, Email, Web, Texting, Etc..
Excerpt: Overall this has to be my most favorite phone I've ever owned, and here's why: Pros: -windows mobile phone, yay! -Awesome design, nice big sturdy phone -Keypad rocks, tho it's not QWERTY, but it has big buttons -internal display is vibrant, colorful, the best I've seen yet -the phone gets solid reception! And with the extendable antenna, yowza! -the phone is fun to play with, comes with so many features for a low-end smartphone.
Excerpt: I just got the soon to be discontinued PN 820 phone with Verizon Wireless. I love this phone a lot, it is a good basic smartphone. I am still learning about the features, but the best part is, this phone is NOT buggy in any way. My only complaint is the battery life is poor, and at this time NO ONE has the extended battery in stock. Verizon does not know when they will get it in, and not even ebay had any listings for the extended battery.
Excerpt: This phone is the number one phone i ever had. Pro: Tethering: If it has all 5 bars, it's just like having Comcast/Cox/Verizon DSL high speed internet with power boost! Internet on Handset: Same!! Con: 1-Turning on/Start up a little slow. 2-If you download alot make sure that you have a mini SD memory card. If not it may slow you phone a little. Make sure you have a that if you are one of the people who download alot.
Excerpt: I am a phone nut - had the blackberry (actually love it but found it too addicting)but this phone does everything I want it to do. I don't surf the web so web access isn't important to me. I really need a real time calander and all my contacts to sync with my laptop. The software was a piece of cake to install and I was synched in about 5 mins. I love the phone. A couple minor details: phone ring volume could be better, but I use mostly vibrate so it works for me.
Excerpt: I just got the phone as work phone from my company. A lot of issues in the phone reported in different reviews can be fixed by just reading the manual that came with the phone. Spent jalf an hour reading the manual and a lot of issues can be fixed!!! I will put in a more detailed review after i have had it for a couple of weeks.
Excerpt: I work for the wireless industry used to own the Pantech 3200. I now own the Pantech 8200. Wow...Awsome Reception and battery life. It's loud and clear. Data works, a little bit of work to use though. Hands down if you want a phone that is reliable, and works..
Excerpt: I have been waiting for a clamshell that was Windows mobile and this fits the bill nicely. I will say I bought the extra battery, just because...I am on the road a LOT. REALLY NICE: Synchs in Vista Mobile Center flawlessly. Shows up correctly by it's device name. Took only a few seconds to pair my Treo bluetooth headphone. Works with the Ford Sync option in my car. That is a lifesaver.
