Summary: I received notice from AT&T that the phone I had would no longer be supported after 7/30/14. I was using a cheap small phone after my original Pantech took a dive in some water. I am so happy with this phone. When I called AT&T to find out if this one would be supported (they were trying to lock me into 2yrs and a smartphone) they weren't sure. It works great, love the size of the keyboard and very sharp looking.
Excerpt: This was the first phone I used when I signed up for AT&T cell phone service. It was very easy to use, the phone is sturdy and seemed nearly indestructible, and the graphics were clear and of good quality.
Excerpt: I bought the Pantech C740 back in October 2008, I think the phone is great, it has cool features that allows me to surf the web, i can listen to any type of music abd texting is easy with the double sided letters and numbers. The phone takes great pictures and its easy to send videos and pictures to my friends and family.
Excerpt: i love my pantech matrix cell phone it has a two way slider one slide opens to the keyboard for texting and the other is for the numbers to call people! the mobile web lets me access my webpages when im on the go. the email features lets me access my emails when im not home to look it up on the computer. the keyboard is great for me i text all the time and the keyboard comes in handy alot!. the camera takes amazing pictures and the video camera function is amazing.
Excerpt: Let me just say that I love, love, love my Pantech Matrix from At&t.....I got it as a replacement phone since my other one crapped out. I ordered a refurbished one and it looks like new.....So far, I have had it for 2 months and have not had a single problem with it. It takes great snapshots and I love the Qwerty keyboard. The best part is having the t-9 option or the Qwerty which both flip out separately with ease.
Excerpt: When i was considering what kind of phone i wanted to get after i took my other phone dropping, my first choice was the Pantech Duo. Then when i got to the store the represenative said that the duo was a pda, and i was so not about to get a multimedia package. It;s just not something that i need. Then he said that Pantech had a new phone out and it wasn't on the wall yet. He showed me the Pantech Matrix and i fell in love.
The Matrix is a great phone, easy to use, perfect keyboard!

Excerpt: The Pantech Matrix is a fantastic phone! The full keyboard makes texting a breeze, and the buttons are the perfect size and perfectly spaced for simple use. The fact that it also slides to give just a number keyboard makes dialing easier since you don't have to search for the small numbers amongst the full keyboard. This phone is perfect for people who include texting as part of their daily lifestyle!
