Good phone but I haven't been successful when trying predictive textin
2 June 2013
Summary: The phone works well, seems to be well built and a good value for the money. One problem that I have with it is that it doesn't seem to have predictive texting. A note came up saying that it wasn't available on a querty keyboard, and when I slide it the other way, texting is totally random, changes letters around that I already typed in and definitely doesn't predict the word or phrase that I'm trying to type.
Summary: I really like this phone. The dual slider keyboards are a big plus to me. And the fact it is not a "smart" phone. The only things I had a problem was the manual which was too cursory in their coverage of the phone's options. I had to go to my Ford dealer to find out how to get the contacts downloaded to my MS SYNC. It turns out the have to be "pushed" one at a time to the SYNC system. However there is no place in the manual it explains how to do it.
Summary: The phone is great. I had one a few years ago and liked it but I dropped it one to many times. I needed a new one so I went back to the Pantech. The only problem I had was with the new battery. It was wrapped and looked good but wouldn't hold up for 12 hrs even if not in use. I took one out of my old phone and the problem was solved.
Summary: this is a brilliant phone however finding charger was hard in retail stores, best bet is get off ebay or go to Resell stores. The phone is decent pocket size and nice lcd and colors . iGreat Slide & Qwerty Keyboard. Very easy to use, and is unlockable if gsm.
Excerpt: The pantech matrix phone is a great phone to use if you are a texter. It has a slide out full qwerty keyboard and it also has a seperate slid out number pad to make it easy to make phone calls. One of my favorite things about this phone is that they keys are protected because they slide in and out of the phone and can't get accidentally hit in your purse or pocket. It has all your basic phone functions and a camera. I definitely recommend this phone to a big texter.
One of the best phones I have had, even better than my Centro

Excerpt: This phone has a fully functioning Qwerty Keyboard and number pad. I can go to the internet and actually see the websites and not have to worry about it taking forever to load. It has automatic key lock when phone is closed, which is great when you have little ones. Texting has never been so much fun. I got one for my mom and grandma and they both love it too, they can text me with ease.
Excerpt: This is a neat idea and it's really simple to use. I love the keyboard, it's the perfect size. I was worried at first that the keys would be to small but they aren't. The only thing I can complain about is the picture quality is not so wonderful.
Excerpt: At first I wasn't a fan of the phone because it was hard to type on the top row of the QWERTY keyboard, but if you keep your nails short, than you can type on it easier. It took some getting use to, but I like it now. I'm having trouble saving things to the flash drive, the pictures don't want to come off my phone for some reason. I like that it lets you go over the character limit on text messages instead of having to send a bunch of seperate messages.
Excerpt: This phone is great for someone who wants the extra features, but doesn't want to pay for a pda phone. I saved myself, between my phone and my boyfriends, almost 100 dollars a month with this investment. It's just like the Pantech Duo, but without the bells and whistles of a pda. I Can still get my email on it, still browse the internet unlimited, and still text message unlimited, but for half the price. It also has the full keyboard..
