Reception is really poor compared to other phones I've used
2 July 2014
Summary: Reception is really poor compared to other phones I've used. The connection time is also very slow and sometime, even outgoing calls cannot connect in an area with full signal strength. My 6 year old ATT phone has perfect connection and no difficulty connecting from my work, where I use my phone most often. Not recommended.
Summary: This phone only works as unlocked for at&t. If the sim card is not at&t then it will not recieve or send picture messages nor can you set ring tones. If its not in contact with an at&t tower then it wont send or recieve calls either. AT&T doesnt let their phones truely unlock for any other provider. AT&T phones only unlock completely for themselves and unlock partly for everyone else. Its in the programming so there is nothing that can be done.
Summary: THIS IS NOT AN UNLOCKED PHONE. TOO MANY PHONES ON EBAY BEING LABLED AS "UNLOCKED" THAT ARE NOT. IT HAS TO BE LOADED WITH SOFTWARE/FIRMWARE FROM A CARRIER. A TRUE UNLOCKED PHONE WILL OWRK ON ANY COMPATIBLE CARRIER NETWORK AND HAS STAND ALONE MANUFACTURER SOFTWARE NO PROPRIETARY TO THE CARRIER. THIS IS AN AT&T PHONE, IT WORKED FOR TEXT AND CALLS ONLY ON MY CINCINNATI BELL WIRELESS CARRIER. IT IS UNLOCKED BUT STILL RETAINS ALL AT&T SOFTWARE, EVEN AFTER A COMPLETE UNLOCK.
Excerpt: Phone is terrible! I bought it a week ago, it has already stopped working several times; I have been back to the store twice. It overheats and I am forced to leave it off for hours and then restart it for it to work. Have to leave it in charge for multiple hours to fill battery even though it runs out in under an hour. Keys are too small and always ge stuck, phone feels thin and flimsy in general, back cover is rough and SIM card is almost impossible to take out.
Cons: stops working, overheats, long charge time, short battery life, small keys, flimsy design
