Summary: Bout to have to send it back. 1.Batter started out GREAT, then eventually got to where it would not hold a charge. Im glad I bought a squaretrade warranty on it as I'm about to use it. 2.The camera is awkward to use, as the viewfinder is right where you would hold it. You also have to hold it veeeerrrry still, or no dice on a clear pic. Every review talked about the battery, wished I'd have listened.
Excerpt: The phone was OK as a first phone, but soon I hated it. The space bar broke, and the entire outer piece of plastic on the keyboard broke and wouldn't stay in place. Camera position was awful, it was right where your hand goes, and the back that holds the battery in kept falling off.
Pros: Good texting interface - Conversation Structure
Cons: Broken back, Broken keys, Front "touch screen" easily scratched, Awful camera placement, Bad camera quality
Excerpt: when i first got this phone, it didnt send messages. i had to reboot, then it would work for a while... then it would do it again. i thought it was because of water damage so i got a new one with insurance... did the same the right out of the box... its not because reception, because i have 5 full bars and it still wont send. At&t thought it was the sim card so they gave me a new one. still didnt work.
Excerpt: WORST. PHONE. I. HAVE. EVER. HAD. IN. MY. LIFE. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Anyone who has given this phone a good rating hasn't used it for more than a month. First week i got the phone. Dropped it on CARPET and the back flung right off and all the latches that made the back stay on busted, and im not picky about this kind of stuff but the phone feels really cheap in general.
Excerpt: Since day one I have had problems with this phone. Its not so akward but it is very easy to accidentally hang up on a person and the phone will freeze or randomly shut off. It does not take damage well. I used to have phones I would throw, but this one I barely drop and it scratches up. Sometimes the touch screen will run away with the numbers, dialing something you arent even touching.
Pros: Great keybord
Cons: Freezes, Limited Memory, Not Durable, Touch screen isnt good, Easy to break
Summary: Before buying this phone do a lot of research, I did some research, but apparently it wasn't enough. I have come to find out that you can't put the phone on hold when you're using it. I've had countless times when I accidentally hit the mute button and the person. Now, this may just be because I have stretched lobes and my jewelry bangs into it, but I'm not sure.
Summary: Yep it sure is maddening the battery cover plate is defective and doesn't snap onto the phone. I see that many others have had this problem also. I just got this phone in the mail today from ATT because I had tried three separate LG Neons and all of them were defective (phone shut off occasionally when I shut the slider and vibrated randomly when plugged into the charger). This is the fourth phone I've tried with ATT and yet again---no luck. I am beyond angry.
Summary: HELP ! DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO ADD NAMES TO THE PHONE GROUPS? WHEN I ATTEMPT TO EDIT PHONE GROUPS I GET A MESSAGE THAT "NO CONTACTS EXIST" I REALLY NEED HELP BECAUSE IF I CAN'T GET INDIVIDUAL RINGTONES I WILL HAVE TO RETURN THIS PHONE.
