The Pantech Impact is a mobile phone that utilizes the GSM Quad-band 850/900/1800/1900 MHz networkd bandwith as well as the UMTS dual-band American 3G (850/1900 MHz) network. The mobile phone supports GPRS/EDGE/UMTS/HSDPA 1.8 Mbit/s/HSDPA 3.6 Mbit/s data transfer speeds and is powered by a lithium-ion battery. It features a color OLED touch screen, a camera with video recording capabilities, flash and digital zoom; a music player that supports MP3 files, a media player that supports video playback (for MPEG4 files), memory expandability via a microSD slot, a full QWERTY keyboard that supports Predictive Text Input and connectivity options such as USB and Bluetooth®. Other Features on the Pantech Impact includes a PhoneBook caller groups support, Multiple Numbers Per Contact, Picture ID, and Ring ID; personal information management function such as Alarm, Calendar, Calculator, TO-DO, and Notes, Voice Dialing, voice Commands, voice Recording, and Speaker Phone, Email support (IMAP/POP3/SMTP), and GPS.

Features

The Pantech Impact features an OLED touch screen that lets users send text messages, make calls, and control their music library without having to open the phone. Impact’s screen features haptic controls which register each key-press with a soft, tactile buzz. A sideways flip of the phone reveals a full physical keyboard and a second display screen, allowing users to type longer messages. Additionally, the Impact’s screen and tri-band 3G functionality lets users manage social networks and explore the Internet The Pantech Impact is available in two colors, pink and blue.
