Summary: Best non-smartphone on the market. Contrary to what some people say; the phone is easy to use, navigate, text from (I'm a fast text'er and it works just fine) and hear phone calls just fine. The screen is bright/vivid. Always has very good reception/signal. The speaker is VERY loud for it's size. Calls are loud AND clear! Also, music quality is good and is loud as well. Buttons all function as supposed to and don't stick/hang up.
Great phone, if you can get it factory refurbished.

Summary: It really helps having a factory refurbished phone! This phone normally gets such bad reviews, but I must be blessed. It works like a champ, and I have had no problems. I would recommend a factory refurbished pantech hotshot to other ebayers.
Summary: All an all, I like it and after a couple of weeks I am satisfied with it's performance.
Pros: Thin enough to carry even with a silicon case on., Good Camera. Good looking. Mini SD a +, NOT A SMART PHONE = less $$ a month for service and it does every thing I want in a phone.
Cons: It takes a while to learn how to use it., Speaker sucks on speaker phone, but the microphone works very well., Touch Screen is a little needing a TAP for some functions and a finger touch for others
Excerpt: This phone is great for someone who doesn't want a smart phone. It works fine and is easy to use. I would recommend this phone. It hasn't given me any problems at all. I don't use the internet with it. basic phone with texting.
Summary: The hotshot is a good deal for one that can also be used as a basic - - without the data package - - but still has the smartphone features. It sometimes shuts off while listening to music and receiving texts - a quirk of the brand.
Summary: Pretty good phone. Nothing spectacular but none of verizon's basic phones are. It's simple so that's great and easy to make a call. Only complaint is that it's a little annoying to text because the touch response isn't amazing, but it really isn't anything that bad. I've had much worse phones than this one. Aka the Kin One phone... Not for people who like smart phones.
Pros: Simple, cute looking, easy to use, practical and the sound quality while you talk on the phone is excellent.
Cons: A little slow while texting, you can make a few mistakes frequently. But it's not too bad.
Summary: I have the Hotshot for 2 wks. I got it to replace LG Chocolate 2. My battery was running out & phone was starting to slow down. I call, text, take photos, listen to a little music. I'm satisfied with the Hotshot. It's not a smartphone, but I wasn't looking for one. I don't want to increase my monthly bill with a data pkg.
Pros: thin, lightweight, memory card included, no data plan needed, QWERTY keyboard, Good battery life
Cons: -doesn't respond to cold fingers, -no way to lock screen-other than wait it out(30-40 seconds?)
