Summary: This is my first "smart" phone purchase, so to those more experienced, they have a much better grasp than I, but for my first phone, it has worked flawlessly. Internet connection is a breeze and it worked with H2O card that I had with my other phone.
Summary: I haven't purchased a phone w/contract for some time. This one does what I want it to which is work "offline" and play music. This one does limit the size of ringtones so I wasn't able to turn songs directly into ringtones without shortening the length.
Summary: Got this as an upgrade phone for the AT&T go phone service. Works great even with the basic and data plans instead of the smart phone plan. Only drawback is you can only access internet with wi-fi access instead of being able to use 3G, minor setback and hasn't been much of a pain.
Summary: I bought this phone for my husband who wanted a small phone where he could call, do some texting, do some web searching, and he wanted a good battery life. This phone definitely met the criteria. He has had the phone for 2 months and loves it. The battery life is great.
Summary: We purchased the Sharp phone that is very similar. It broke immediately. So this one has been a great relief. It works great. I don't know about other phone plans, but it worked seamlessly with the AT&T SIM card.
Summary: I like this phone a lot. when I first got it my 16 year old son started playing around with it and it took him awhile to give it to me! lol I really like being able to use the keyboard to txt I'm just not fond of the smart phone screen for texting.
Summary: I purchased this phone in particular 1) because it offered Android capabilities with a slider keyboard and 2) because I had read that this phone in particular would be detected as a feature phone instead of a smartphone provided that data was shut off prior to activating it.
Summary: I got the Pantech P8000 for my son even without a data plan. It's his first "smart" phone, and he loves it. Between home and school, he always has WiFi access, so the lack of a data plan doesn't hinder him.
Summary: I bought this phone several months ago when my wife's Samsung Gravity suddenly died. She needed a QWERTY keyboard, so at $70 this phone was the most affordable I could find. I wasn't expecting much, so I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this phone.
