Excerpt: Palm centro by Verizon. Phone is horrible. As I am talking and using the phone it often disconnects me. Not due to connection with Verizon, it is due to the keypad , any slight pressure hangs up the phone. Unable to read entire emails. Only has so much view for emails. Would never recomend this phone.
Summary: I am a combat medic in Afghanistan, shipping was fast, but the phone is not unlocked, and worthless to me here, I guess I will lug it around until I get back to the US, and see if I can use it there, and the touch screen is very unresponsive much of the time.
Pros: It has a qwerty keyboard and a touch screen, which is the best of both worlds. Sprint navigation is not bad.
Cons: It runs on an old Windows Mobile platform no longer supported by MS. Figures Sprint would sell me a phone that I can't get updates for! The touch screen is a little jittery - especially the touch keyboard. The : is only available on the touch screen keybo
BEWARE AND AVOID Palm Treo 850 and ALL PALM PHONES!!!
5 December 2010
Summary: This is my third Palm "smartphone". It freezes, Palm/Sprint quit supporting it by quitting any updates or fixes, and the memory is WAAAAAAAAY underpowered. It looks good, has all the neat features, but those features are useless when they won't work. DO NOT BUY ANY PALM PHONES!!!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!! I won't even get into Palm customer support....
Summary: The screen goes out all the time. I have to hit the re-set button every time I want to use it. I has a great charge but that does not matter when the screen goes fuzzy every time you stop using it for more then a second.
Summary: When i brought the phone i thought it would be great until november when i switch to at&t i thought wrong the phone is garbage the charges for the wall and car barely work and the usb card dont work at all the memory card dont work they say memoy is full but when i put the memory car in my computer the folders ar empty i only have 2 ringtones and contacts no pen for the screen the internet didnt work i had to call cutomer service they said the person i brought it from...
Pros: none to tell work for about one week then had to exchange it for another one.
Cons: here is a few: The sync seems to be a HUGE problem! lost most of my contacts!Hang ups, hang ups, hang up!! Freezes way too much!! Every function performed was literally a frozen moment. two many today since I had the phone . this is my 3rd phone
Pros: nothing to hard to use. everyday i have problems with it!
Cons: it doesn't sync right ,it calls people when its locked, it drops calls all the time ,it freezes up, error message all day everyday, making a call you cant hear anything half the time ,terrible phone this has to be the worst investment i have made!!!
Summary: Be careful with this phone. If it have a problem with this palm treo pro, you have two altenatives. First, the waranty, that I don't think it exist now for this model. Second is to put it in the garbage, because the cost for fixing it, will be almost the price for a newer model. Now that HP is the owner of Palm, I thint it will dissapear soon. So be careful with this phone.
