Excerpt: To give the mobile more memory you can upgrade it with a Mini-SD card, or use the inbuilt 65MB internal storage which is not bad. The only feature that this mobile has not got is Wi-fi, which is a shame because you cannot connect to the internet on the move. Overall this mobile phone or Palm is quite good and has some great features. Great for businesses or even for the individual, i recommend this to anyone.
The Palm Treo 750v, is it worth the money and time?
20 August 2009
Excerpt: "...the opportunity to acquire the Palm Treo 750v from a colleague at a very low price. He already had the very handy TomTom application and due to my sat nav breaking I decided to buy it from him. I have liked the look of the phone which comes accross as an expensive well built product and have found the software relatively easy to use due to it being Windows based just like most home computers. As I have already said I had the Tom Tom application ...
Pros: Internet and email access is easy . Texting is very user friendly, quick and simple .
Cons: Camera resolution, no wireless connectivity, and fiddly keyboard .
Palm Treo 750v: A great business or personal phone (if you don't need a good ...
7 January 2009
Summary: I have had the Palm Treo 750v for around a year now. It was provided by my company as a work phone, so I can't comment on price or individual data plans. Originally the phone was provided to me as it said on the Palm website that Blackberry connect would work on it and I need to get my work emails on my phone, unfortunately it subsequently became apparent that this is not the case with this specific model.
Excerpt: "...could all actually fit the palm of my hand. I am a mother of two little ones and it's my perfect partner with my daily multi-tasking but best of all I get to steal moments very easily to work on my literary pieces on the word application minus a bulky laptop wherever I go even while pushing a buggy - how great is that?! The only down side is the camera, but it doesn't bother me much because I prefer a proper camera anyway. ...
Pros: It has Windows Applications handy
Cons: The camera quality does not match it's many great features
Excerpt: "...gave me a UK Vodafone-branded Palm Treo 750v, with the good (www.good.com) software preinstalled for email connectivity and sync with the corporate exchange server. Battery life: extremely poor. If I fully charge the telephone in the evening, it is fully dead in less than 24 hours. And we're talking about standby time, not actual usage: I tried this on weekends, when I received no emails nor calls, nor made any myself. My private phone is a Nokia ...
Pros: Can't think of any
Cons: Standby time less than 24 hours; not user - friendly
Excerpt: "...fingers - I chose the Palm Treo 750v as my next mobile phone of choice. "Why?" I hear you collectively cry. "Why have you gone for something that appears so unwieldy it will make your pocket look like the crotch of a 1970's porn star? Why have you gone for something so riddled with keys it's clearly trying to be a Blackberry and not quite making it? Why - oh why - have you gone for a brand that, two years ago, was fading in to the background as ...
Pros: Fully usable handheld computer and phone combined
Excerpt: "...been a heavy user of palm pda's for a few years I was reluctant to part with them, however it was getting a bind carrying my mobile phone and pda around with me. I thought long and hard about the choices and decided to stick with Palm and go for the Treo 750v. I sold my phone and pda on ebay and away I went. I have now used the Treo for 4 weeks and feel I made the right decision... why? The treo if is has any fault is larger than my mobile phone ...
Pros: One machine to carry . Quick internet access . Easy to operate
Summary: The Treo 750v should be a great phone. It looks good, considering it has a qwerty keyboard, and I like the colour. Initially it took a while to get used to the interface, stylus and keys, but I got there in the end. However, telephones have one major function - the ability to make and receive calls. Of the original four Treo 750V's that my company purchased everyone of them has been replaced at least twice.
Pros: It looks ok, and when it works it's pretty good
Cons: Everyone that has owned one in my business has had to have the handset replaced at least twice because of failures!
