Cool phone, but sometimes I have a hard time placing calls.

  • Excerpt: The phone is pretty cool, although I have only had it for a few weeks and have had a few problems.  I have had a few times where I can't place or recieve calls.  It will usually resolve the problem if I turn the phone off and back on.  Also, I love to play games on my phone and so far I haven't seen where any games are there.  Over all the phone is a good buy.

  • Excerpt: I was excited when I received the Treo, but disappointed in the lack of instructions available.  The included manual included brief start-up instructions and the accompanying CD was not very useful.  Online info was also limited. The device often freezes up.  It happened everyday when I first had it.  AT&T sent a patch that fixed the issue for a while.  Nevertheless, the internet was unreliable and I oten had to restart the connection to get on the internet.

  • Excerpt: I purchased this phone because of the Windows applications and because it was recommended by the salesperson.  I'm not in love with the device, as the other review stated, the battery sometimes dies.  I've also had problems with the camera and video and could never rely on them for a spontaneous shot of anything.  1 out of 2 times, I have to reboot the thing to get the camera to work.  It does do a good job with my email and I do like the ease of use of the keyboard.

  • Excerpt: If this is not your first treo and you previous treo was not window based, good luck trying to convert your address book.  Instead of making things easier treo made it more difficult.  Browsing, emailing and messaging has been upgraded though.

  • Summary: its not bad for an affordable 'smart phone'. the windows mobile software seems to bog down and get confused every so often, like forget to ring when someone calls even when the settings are set to ring or while on another call jump to other sections of the phone because of the touch screen. other than that I get great reseption, no dropped calls, and its awesome for texting.

  • Summary: I was happy to receive the phone so quickly, but there wasn't all of the literature that usually comes with a new phone included. It is phone that can do so many things, which is great, but I am having trouble with the key pad and without the instructions it is really difficult to figure out what is wrong.

Palm Treo 750 (Used)

  • Summary: I've owned other Treo's before but this phone has the 3G/HSPDA capabilities that I want. I like the Treo's form factor and I'm use to the small keyboard. I'm not a fan of Microsofts Mobile operating system, which is probably because I'm so use to Palm's Garnet O/S. The phone has numerous scratches on the case and one annoying scratch on the screen, which is no suprise to me as the seller stated that the phone was covered with scratches.

  • Summary: This phone is a WinMo which does allow for downloading numerous applications. This is a replacement for what I already have because I have not found a phone as email user friendly as this one that allows HTML in the body of the email, which is handy when you don't necessarily want people to know you are using your phone to respond. Its battery life is awful though. So make sure you have mobile charger and carry a plug in charger wherever you go.
