Palm 750

air3wgl, Phone Scoop
20 May 2009
  • Excerpt: I have had this phone for a year now. I have been very disappointed in it. The bluetooth system drops connections and forces an repairing of the device on a consistant basis. The microsoft sysytem locks up and requires rebooting more that my computer at home. The phone has been a constant pain in the neck with respect to repairing and rebooting. I called palm tech support and the just blame microsoft for the issues. I have had no one offer a solution.

OK, not great

Windy, Phone Scoop
26 June 2008
  • Excerpt: I've had this phone for about 3 months now. My previous phone(s) have all been regular cell phones, not smart phones. Yes I have read many reviews telling me that I need to adapt to the idea that this is a computer, not a phone. I do love the email and the full querty keyboard but quite frankly the devices short comings mean that I am looking to unload this device as soon as my contract with my provider will allow. Pros: Good email interface.

  • Excerpt: I have owned this phone for a year now however I have finally called it quits. Pros: syncs all contact info extensive call log Cons: time setting changes constantly, making events wrong. phone has a habit of freezing up and must take battery out to reset. ringer is not very loud when the ringer decides to work. I do not think it is only my handset, my husband has the same phone and suffers with the same problems. This phone is not worth the money at all.

Worst phone I've ever owned

RSuzI, Phone Scoop
29 July 2007
  • Excerpt: The phone, if it worked all the time, might be great. The biggest problem is that the ringer on the phone constantly does not work. The only way to fix it is for me to pop the battery out and put it back in and turn it on again. The ringer will work for a while and then suddenly not work again so that if anyone calls me, I cannot hear the phone ring. Occasionally the vibrator mode gets stuck on and it just vibrates until I take the battery out.

Windows mobile bugs? Or treo 750 bugs?

geekman686, Phone Scoop
25 June 2007
  • Excerpt: I left Verizon wireless about 3 months ago due to many problems with my blackberry. I decided to get a Treo 750 from Cingular knowing that windwos mobile had some stability issues. My treo has not disappointed me, I have to reboot my treo several times a week. Some of my issues 1. Keyboard will lock into num lock mode 2. Treo will freeze when calling the start menu. 3. Dropped calls! The treo has an issue going from UTMS to GSM/GPRS. 4. Memory usage.

Ugly heavy hunk of junk

Pryce, Amazon
9 September 2012
  • Summary: In the smartphone market, the Treo 750 is now hopelessly outdated - but anyone considering it should stay well away. Firstly, it is one of the ugliest least ergonomic phones out there. Thick and heavy, this isn't a phone you can leave in your shirt pocket and forget about - it's like carrying a bulky calculator from the 1980's. It freezes up whenever you tax it, requiring the battery to be removed which will eat up several minutes of your time.
