Excerpt: Being a busy Real Estate Agent, I found that the Palm Treo 700p was too complicated. If I was to show a house and needed to call my husband or 911 for help, quickly, with this phone, would not be possible. The touch screen did not work efficiantly. Even with the little pen gadget they give you to touch the screen with, did was not efficiant. I had a difficult time getting around on the screen quickly.
Summary: I bought the Palm Pre because I had an upgrade available for my Verizon account. I tried to get a touch-screen phone without the huge, expensive data package, but there weren't any available. I received my Palm Pre in the mail and could not get it to work properly, so I went to the Verizon Store and had a representative order me a new one. The second phone I received started having sound problems within a month or so.
Summary: I had ordered the phone got it rather fast when i got it tried to charge it and wouldnt charge where u put the plug in was messed up sent it back got another phone same model got it activated come to find out you could send texts but not recieve. He should try the phones out before selling. I would never go thru him think its all bs.
Summary: I wanted this phone because I thought to try something new in the phone system but I did want to pay out a lot of money. So I bought the Treo on line and it was not a good buy and I say that because it has no battery in I have never been able to use this phnoe so I lost money but the listen here is to go and buy a real phone from a store that you can take it back when it dose not work. I was not happy with the phone it at home setting on top of my TV.
Summary: I purchased this item as a gift for someone and they fellinlove with it as soon as it was in there hands. The problem came about two days later when the phone started to shut down by itself. I bought a new battery and charger for the phone but that didn't work either. so I took it to the sprint and they told us that it was easly to obtain viruses from the browser link. That sucks. Other than that everythig was fine except the signal and reception it got!!!
Pros: I like the QWERTY buttons. The Palm OS meets my needs.
Cons: Breakdown - after 4 months and a visit to the Sprint store, we agreed to settle on $30 for a replacement. We couldn't figure out how to get it started again. Poor Charging/battery life - only will charge on computer
Excerpt: My treo 700p is such a piece of crap. It randomly freezes, cuts off calls, resets, etc. I am replacing it at Verizon today and I hope not to get any grief. I certainly do not want it replaced just destroyed. At one point didn't palm os have a good reputation. If someone from Palm is reading this, fix your phones or go out of business.
Excerpt: I have many problems with this phone constantly resetting and freezing. If you want a reliable phone, do not get this one. I am on my third, and all have had the same issues. I am finished with Palm. Here I come BlackBerry.
