Summary: It cost the same as a Smartphone per month to activate. So Palm is a thing of the past if your going to pay $60. to $100. per month get the new smart phone that dose all of what the Palm dose and lotes more.
Summary: Only problem it is a sprint phone . I have Verizion. Maybe if i change the Sim card I can use it. Right now I am using to charge my battery and using the extra battery that came with it. Why ? because my other treo is not working right. Dropped it. Lost a part. Can not charge it.
Excerpt: This phone ... is amazing. I've dropped it at least 10 times (battery fell off, stylus fell off) and it still works. Freezes up sometimes, but I just take out the battery. Bam, fixed. Has lots of features. Works with Palm Desktop, which runs on my XP Home 512MB RAM and 2.2GHz single core computer.
Pros: Best calendar system I've ever seen, with color coding and alarms., Dropped it 10 times and still works, QWERTY keyboard for fast note taking on memopad (included), camera takes desktop wallpaper size photos (other sizes available, and black/white, date stamp options available), system lock, volu...
Cons: NO wifi, antennae sticks out, no cares about Palm OS anymore, calendar system uses .dba file (not sure if compatible with other programs), camera has no flash, Palm Desktop works on slow computers, USB sync feature doesn't work with Vista 64, can't access phone's files via USB
Excerpt: I went used the Treo 650 for a year before upgrading to the Treo 700 and selling the 650 to my brother. There were a few reasons I regretted it, but let me first discuss the 700 and my experience with it. So much of the experience …
Summary: These phone are so neat I bought 3 of them. The latest sprint update lets you use SDHC cards so I've got 8 gigs in mine plus there are lots of free apps out there for the palm. I use google maps and the word apps everyday at work.
Excerpt: This phone is horrible. It freezes up all the time. It also randomly resets itself. For like 3 days there was no sound coming from any of the speakers. I am on my second one and i have it through sprint. The menus are also confusing. The only good thing is the internet is really fast.
Excerpt: My treo 700p is such a piece of crap. It randomly freezes, cuts off calls, resets, etc. I am replacing it at Verizon today and I hope not to get any grief. I certainly do not want it replaced just destroyed. At one point didn't palm os have a good reputation.
Excerpt: I have many problems with this phone constantly resetting and freezing. If you want a reliable phone, do not get this one. I am on my third, and all have had the same issues. I am finished with Palm. Here I come BlackBerry.
