Great old school smart phone- can't live without it
15 September 2012
Summary: Great old smart phone. I had to replace the same model since it went for a swim. For as old as this platform is it does a lot! I have used a Palm platform device for over 15 years and have lots of data backed up on my computer that I could not bear to lose. That is why I chose not to upgrade to an Android or iPhone. My only letdown is the "new" phone did not come with an SD memory card. It had the factory "non-functional" dummy card in the slot.
Summary: I first started using the Palm Treos several years ago. I like the way I can use it as a phone, an address book (syncs with Outlook), game player, camera and video, play pictures and videos, book reader and it seems a hundred other things too. I have bought 5 of these over the past few years (from eBay, naturally). I have tried newer Sprint phones and can't find one that can do everything the old Palm Treo can do.
Summary: I bought this device for use as a Palm pilot, so I have not tested it as a phone. It is a great device that is easy to use and has a long battery life. Battery life depends on how much you use it, of course, but a Pocket PC I bought had to be charged almost every day, the Treo 700p will sometimes last a week between charges! The Palm OS gives it great flexibility, as there are many useful programs (as well as games) that are compatible with it.

Summary: Palm phone I got this phone 7 months ago and used it for 4 months because it sometimes lagged. windows mobile one seems better and that is the one i currently own. thanksfor letting me share my review.
Summary: I had a Treo 650 that died. I replaced it with a 700p because I love the touch screen and I like the Treo with Palm OS. There are newer Palm phones on the market but this one fits my needs. It has a camera, SD card slot, music player, etc., but I would like it even better if it had built-in GPS.
Summary: This phone is very practical, the battery life is great it last about 48 hours without being charged. The features are very up to date, I had a 4g android phone prior to this one, and the battery lasted no more than 5 hours a day. This phone is small and very reliable, the camera resolution is great and I wouldnt change it for the world. I strongly recommend it.
Summary: I followed Palm and Handspring, then Treo PDAs and smart phones up the capability chain for well over a decade. I never bought bleeding edge, but upgraded when new stuff came out and prices dropped. In my own way I contributed to the demise of Palm. I got the Sprint phone module for the Handspring platform very close to when they first came out since it seemed like such an obvious combination. And pretty much everyone else agreed that it was too.
Summary: I bought Palm Treo 700wx (Sprint) three weeks ago and was immediately impressed with the number of features available on this inexpensive phone. It has a 1M-pixel camera, video camera, and speakerphone. The NewPhone's size is perfect for carrying in a pocket . My only complaint is that the menu system on the phone makes you click four times before you can find someone in the address book, set an alarm, or perform a additional functions.
Summary: I had ordered the phone got it rather fast when i got it tried to charge it and wouldnt charge where u put the plug in was messed up sent it back got another phone same model got it activated come to find out you could send texts but not recieve. He should try the phones out before selling. I would never go thru him think its all bs.
Summary: My android phone recently had to go back to samsung for warranty work and i needed a phone because I never buy insurance for them. So I thought I got a pretty good deal on the palm treo 700 on ebay. I know its outdated, but they work. It has a really loud ringer on wich is great for me but the windows on a phone? lets say there easier technology to operate now a days.
