Perfect phone for someone who wants a good solid phone with a good calendar

  • Summary: This phone may not be the newest version with the best camera, but I LOVE it! This is the second one I have owned and it is a TANK when it comes to being dropped or abused. I love the easy Calendar feature; it reminds me of birthdays and other important dates with its yearly repeat setting. It has a variety of good ringtones without purchasing any, plus you can record your own and assign them to individual incoming numbers so you know who it is without looking.

This was a great phone for its time and it works great for traveling.

  • Summary: This was a great phone for its time and it works great for traveling. I can connect the SIM Cards for the different countries that I'm traveling through and the phone numbers that I save onto the SIM card can be downloaded to the phone itself and consequently onto the Palm Desktop Software allowing me to save the numbers for my next trip!

My life in the palm of my hand.

  • Excerpt: The Treo650 is an excellent way for me to keep my life and schedule straight.  I have tried carrying PDAs before, and I will just leave the bulky PDA at home and grab my phone.  This works out great for me because it is just a little bit bigger than my old phone, but had an incredible amount of increased functionality.  I have a Mac and needed to sync my phone with  my iCal and Addressbook.

  • Excerpt: The Palm Treo is one of the best phones I have ever owned. It is practically indestrutable. I have dropped in in the toilet, its been smashed in a door, ran over by the car. I like how i can put music on the phone. I also like the phone is Touch Screen.

The treo 650 is an ok phone that does have some quirky problems.

  • Excerpt: The treo 650 has been a good phone for me, but I have had some problems with it locking up randomly. I have talked to others who own the phone and they seem to have had the same problems. Newer versions don't seem to have this problem.I love the pda part! I have not even begun to dive into all that is possible, but it has continued to satisfy as I have expanded my use of it.

Palm Treo 650 is a great basic phone

  • Excerpt: I loved my Palm Treo 650 and eventually moved up to a Palm Centro (closest thing I could upgrade to through my carrier).  I loved my Palm Treo.  It is very basic, so no 3G or Apps, but a great phone for someone who uses a cell phone to call and text.  The keyboard is great..I miss it!

Great Phone Features

CropTimeQueen, Viewpoints
9 September 2012
  • Excerpt: This phone has great features! It does tend to reset itself sometimes and the software configuration gets hosed without proper support for fixes. The lag time for the web needs improvement..but, I think this is a feature of the service and not the phone itself. It is bulky and heavy.

Travel with your Treo - not a laptop.

  • Excerpt: I've been generally pleased with my Treo 650.  I got so that I could synch my calendar at the office and take it with me while traveling.  I'm able to retrieve email, surf the web, and make phone calls with the Treo and don't find I need a laptop when I travel.  The applications suit my needs - and I can always download a new one if needed.  It does occasionally crash and restart on me for no apparent reason, but on the whole I find it convenient and user friendly.
