Excerpt: This is not a phone for those easily frustrated. The screen is not as sensitive as it should be and it has a mind of its own. The people selling it should warn those used to Blackberry phones on the product responsiveness. I brought mine back the first week I got it. It was horrible. It has great applications as does the Blackberry and if you want a really good phone stay with what you know just upgrade to the latest model.
Excerpt: I should have known better than to buy a brand new phone that just came out. I am extremely disappointed in the Palm Pre and cannot wait to replace it. The battery does not last an entire day. The phone often gets stuck in headset mode and is difficult to get back in regular mode. Reception is terrible (even compared to others on the same network). The phone also frequently drops calls.
Pros: The only pros of this phone is the software and how easy it was to use.
Cons: I have gone through SIX of these phones everyone with the exact same issue. The hardware on the palm pre is terrible. The speaker both to talk and to listen broke after a month and sometimes after a few days. On one of the phones the only way I could talk
Cons: many problems such as cheapest case , cracks easily. plug in cover breaks off, speaker dies, screen often malfunctions. smallest keyboard , no voice activation. not many apps work with it..If it does crack ,they wont fix it if something like the spea
Summary: Too short battery life, battery does not last 8 hours before needing recharge, with little use. Key board way too small. Very difficult to type with key board, constantly hitting wrong key. Do not recommend!
Cons: In the last year I have been through 5 palm pre phones because they are poorly manufactured and the touch screen stops working. Initially it will fail to work in certain areas then entirely. It is difficult to replace with the warranty.
"Worst Phone I Have Ever Had the Displeasure of Owning."

Pros: Like any smartphone, it can be nifty at times. Nice assortment of apps, love that it can hold my music which I can use alternatively as a ringtone.
Cons: It's sluggish, glitches out, awful battery life has terrible volume, lumps profiles in my address book together constantly and freezes up umpteen times a day. Its newest trick? It refuses to hold a charge no matter how long I have it plugged in.
