Excerpt: FIRST IMPRESSIONS Ah, the long awaited Palm Pre has finally shown itself to the iPhone-clenched world. At a glance, the phone instantly attracts wandering eyes. The sleek, glossy cover (although EXTREMELY, I must say, easily fingerprint stainable) emits a sharp, sophisticated perspective. I will say now, I have been heavily anticipating this launch.
Excerpt: I have lived with the Pre for more than a month now and feel qualified to properly describe and review it. This review will also supply some insight regarding comparing it to the Iphone 3gs. To wit: Thinking I could just go in to my local Best Buy and pick up a Pre , I attempted to do just that only to be told there was a waiting list of more than a month to get one.
Summary: What can I say? This phone is the Colecovision of video game systems. A hidden gem nobody will ever remember but one of the most fascinating pieces of technology to ever be created. My Palm fell apart a few months ago, and I tried out the iphone for several months. Yes the iphone is better, but because I have a MAC it's also redundant. I just sold and bought a used Palm for 18 dollars and quite frankly couldn't be happier.
Excerpt: Seriously to be a smartphone they couldn't make the battery life "smarter" and longer. I have no choice but to have a car charger b/c even after charge the phone ALL night, if I leave it on all day and talk for more than 5 minutes, that's a wrap on the phone! Now some may say I have too many apps on the phone but a different smartphone I previously owned as twice as more apps and battery life.
This phone isn't as cool as it is cracked up to be.

Excerpt: This phone has a few cool features, but there are definitely many more cons than pros. The battery life is terrible, the internet is super slow, making it almost impossible to do anything on the web unless connected to WiFi. It comes with only a few ways to personalize your phone, the rest must be downloaded seperatly. For example: you must download a patch to switch the text messaging alert volume or to forward an email. These patches take forever to download.
Excerpt: I really like my palm pre. It is very easy to use and has many apps to download. The games are very fun to play. The only downfalls that I have found with it, is sometimes it's hard to get the curser right where you want it because it is touch screen. The other downfall is that the hotspot will not stay connected to my wi-fi on my computer, but they are working on this problem. I enjoyed having my blackberry, but I really love my palm pre.
Excerpt: me and my husband both have palmpre's from sprint the last phone i had all kinds of problems. i love the palm pre it has so many features like the app store and google maps and a touch screen, and it's easy to understand and use. even my eight year old daughter has figured out how to use it.
Excerpt: This phone is as close to iphone with out being an iphone. But.. my turns off by itself every once in while. Which is annoying. The only way to turn it back on is to take out the battery and put it back in.
Excerpt: While the apps are awesome, the GPS does not work too well and the phone tends to overheat if used too much. The battery dies quickly if you are using the phone but it recharges quickly. I have had to replace it twice already due to corrosion so if you plan to get this phone definately invest in insurance.
Excerpt: I've had too many cell/smart phones over the years, and I can honestly say this is the best yet. This thing does everything and has the best OS I've ever seen, even in comparison to the iPhone. I highly recommend this product for the tech savvy or entry level, as it's easy to navigate and use.
