Excerpt: I purchased the Palm Pre Plus phone from Verizon about 3 months ago and overall it has been a great phone. As with any new phone I have experienced some small problems with it but there haven’t been any major problems that haven’t been resolved.
Summary: I already owned one of these phones. I like it so much I figured if I could find another one at a reasonable price I would get it in case my original breaks. The WebOs operating system is fantastic and I still enjoy using it. The phone works great with excellent call quality. The apps available cover everything I could want to do with my cell phone. Everytime I am tempted to get a newer, more advanced phone, I just use my pre plus and that takes any temptation away.
Summary: Reason I bought it just they are most affordable at the moment. I like the sleek design, slide up qwerty keyborad which convenient to write messaging. It also can view video which with average android with similar specs cant do. But its Webos version still cant be further update since the Palm/HP had retract to develop it anylonger. So you just use what current version available in store. I bought three of them, and use every day for me, my wife & brother in law.
Summary: The Palm Pre Plus was the only phone I never had the pleasure of experiencing, until I found an affordable one and I was amazed by this forgotten phone. I'd say the hardware is hard 3; however, the mobile operating system (webOS) is a 10! It is based on the Linux kernel. I like that it has some aspects of iOS and Android, although fused into one mobile OS with it's own flavor. This is multitasking at it's finest!
