[Palm Pixi] WebOS, Keyboard and Small form factor all in one!
9 September 2012
Excerpt: My wife uses the Palm Pixi and loves it! I get a chance to play with it every now and then and I have to admit, the small form factor is very nice when you consider this is a full out Smart Phone with one of the best designed phone OS'es out there. Throw in a physical keyboard (none of that virtual on-screen keyboard) and you're talking a complete package!
Excerpt: My previous phone was the centra and I really liked it, but the microphone went out on it so I had to get a new phone. I was torn between the pixi and the pre, because of price and other reviews I decided to go with the Pixi. Set up was easy, all my contacts had been saved in my computer, so I just downloaded it to my new phone. However, once it downloads all your contacts from Yahoo, you can't delete them from your phone, or at least I haven't figured out how.
Excerpt: I had another Palm before, and I understood the way the phone works so I chose to go with another Palm this time as well. I have had some problems with it, but still, I like the phone over all. The great thing about this phone is that it is a very small phone, and it is easy to keep up with. The battery life is not that great, but still I like the phone over all.
Palm Pixi was not as great as I expected. Too many issues.

Excerpt: I upgraded to the next Palm phone, the Pixi, and wasn't at all happy with it. When trying to alter text there is no forward arrow button to move your cursor and so you have to try and tap on the screen to put your cursor in the right place to back space and erase. My ringer is already broken after only having it a month or so and the vibrate isn't strong enough to get my attention, the video is slow, I can't upload the latest flash for OS, the camera is very very slow...
Excerpt: I consider myself very tech savvy, and people come to me frequently for computer and tech advice. The Palm Pixi is definitely not a phone that I'd recommend to anyone who doesn't have good dexterity, and really, it's so buggy, I'm not sure I'd recommend it to anyone else. The phone does look good and has some great features (read: multi-tasking; good updates; thin, syncs and links contacts/accounts). The down side is that the phone is so thin that the screen can crack.
