Apparently wonderful phone, but unusable if not activated and registered.

Summary: I purchased this phone because the features looked outstanding for the price. It was a little amusing that it takes nearly five minutes for the phone to boot up. Apparently that is the WebOS that this phone uses. Even when unlocked this model has to be registered and activated before it can be used. That should be stated in the description. Apparently activation is dependent on the cell phone service. I was unable to activate it with three different services.
Summary: I must say it's true what they say..You get what you pay for. I bought two of these phones. My husband and I both are having all sorts of problems with this phone. It takes forever to power up, the battery life sucks and you have to leave the phone on for it to charge. The keyboard is extremely small and it does not take the best pictures and the video is dark. Don't waste your time or money purchasing this phone.
Summary: Well, it's not quite that bad. You can turn the phone on, but you have to create a Palm Profile immediately before you can do anything else. That wouldn't be so bad, except that you need to be on a 3G plan to create the Palm Profile. If you don't have a data plan, you can't create the Palm Profile. If you can't create the Palm Profile, you can't use the phone.
Excerpt: I've had this phone for about 7 monthes. During the second month the silicon flap over the battery charging area fell apart into small shredded pieces and wont close. So i have a huge silicon piece hanging out of the side of my phone. The cover on the back has made a gap inbetween the phone and the back (because its made of silicon)... so stuff gets into the back of your phone easily. The charger FELL APART so i already had to buy awhole new one.
Pros: Small, Nice keyboard, Camera with Flash, Lovely display, Internet browsing was pretty good
Cons: Falling apart, Bad battery, Laggy, Calls people randomly, Shuts off, Glitches up, Silicon backing
Faulty and Already Registered. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AS WELL.

Summary: I gave this phone as a gift and it COULD NOT BE registered to even began using! Meaning even though it was wrapped and sold as NEW that it was NOT! That means that OEM lied about their product from the beginning! And it is made with FAULTY parts, the number 6 would NOT work. I saw that the OEM has a 7 day return policy but they refused to reimburse me despite their CLEARLY FAULTY product. Stay away.
Summary: I purchased Palm Pixi Plus thru The OEM Shop on May 6, 2011. It was shipped fast, received it on May 11th. It arrived in plain white box with no manual. Upon inspecting the phone, I notice back battery door cover is missing and numerous scratches in battery bay. I had a feeling it was used. I powered up the phone then enter ##767# and indeed confirmed it was a refurbished phone. Nowhere in their ad on Amazon did they mention they're selling me a used phone.
Summary: Nice phone, The OEM Shop stinks! This item advertised as new was not in manufacturers packaging, also included no manuals. Entered ##786# to find out if phone is truly new as-advertised. It is not, it's a refurb that I could have gotten cheaper elsewhere. I ordered the Palm Pixi Plus and the Stereo Headphones together but didn't receive headphones, emailed The OEM Shop, 5 days later. no response. Called their listed # 718-362-2255 and it's out of service.
