Summary: Three small "cracks" appeared in the screen which made it unusable. The touch screen no longer worked. It was not dropped or mishandled. Don't know where they came from. Many complaints on the net about this issue. Not covered by warranty. Folks complained they couldn't hear me when on a call.
Pros: Price is right. Screen is clear. Wifi. MP3 player works well. Picture quality is not good. Email works well except couldn't open a PDF attachment. Works on Page Plus Cellular.
Cons: Shuts off randomly, too small to browse the web, hard to answer the phone. You have to drag your finger up the screen to answer and this is hard to do while driving. Wake up button is in on top of phone and hard to get at. Outdated OS.
Summary: RETURN for EXCHANGE ONLY. To return for exchange you must call 3rd party for vendor reference number.... THEN call newegg for an RMA...
Pros: worked for 20 days with spotty wifi. Should have bought the extended warranty.
Cons: It died. I cannot power on to reset device and remove my personal info, contacts, etc. waiting for exchange... RETURN for EXCHANGE ONLY. To return for exchange you must call 3rd party for vendor reference number.... THEN call newegg for an RMA...
Pros: It's a pretty slick looking phone with a very cool look and feel.
Cons: This phone requires a data plan. I have Searched to the end of the internet for a way to bypass verizon's requirements. This makes the phone virtually worthless since much better free phones come with the ridiculous 30 a month data plan. It's low end for a smart phone. And I would like to warn al...
Summary: One of the external speakers isn't working. I noticed too late for the newegg return and spent over 2 hours trying to convince HP support that a physical speaker doesn't need troubleshooting - just an RMA and address. Speaker is still broken. HP used to have awesome support.
Pros: Small, slim, physical keyboard and volume buttons. External speakers. Links to google account and contacts.
Cons: Camera is poor. The touchscreen is slow to respond, causing many double taps. Network GPS, not true. WORST PART: Palm JUST "upgraded" the map app from google maps to BING. You can't even browser navigate to google maps... it redirects you. Done with this phone. period.
