This is a great durable cell phone, but somewhat confusing.

Excerpt: The palm centro has too many applications. The screen is too small to use without the stylus, and even the most basic of functions are hard to learn how to do. (like adding contacts) On the other hand, I have dropped my phone several times, and it has been fine.
Excerpt: I have had this phone for about 10 months and I must say I am not impressed. My biggest complaint is the lack of display for incoming calls. The screen just tells me that I missed calls. It doesn't display who called, the number that was calling or when they called. There is also no notification that there is a voicemail. No light flashing to let you know someone left a message.
Excerpt: I purchased the Palm Centro from Sprint in December 2009. Initially I purchased the phone because I wanted the touch screen features. The phone & plan I have comes with a great deal of extras, Sprint TV, unlimited mobile to mobile calling, unlimited text messages, instant messaging, sprint radio, unlimited picture mail, GPS Navigation, Data Pack etc. The cost that I ended up paying on the phone after all the rewards was a nice bonus too.
Summary: I was a Treo 650 user and a Palm fan, but this phone made me not want to try another palm product for the rest of my life. The phone is slower than my previous 650, and freezes randomly for no reason when I picked up a call. Went to palm forums and found out the phone has a factory problem that cause these random crashes. For me Palm is dead!
Excerpt: Maybe it's just because I text 24/7, but I've had this phone for 13 months, and 9 of the buttons you use to text have fallen off. The key pad has what seem to be, gel like letter pads over it and they have fallen off leaving the key pad part exposed and (I guess where my nails hit the buttons everytime) it has ripped open. The navigation bottons fall off and i have to click them back into place and overall, the phone is very slow and un-responsive.
Excerpt: I am currently on my 4th Centro, which was replaced 2 days ago, and after 6 hours I was already having problems....again. I have had issues with receiving e-mails, the phone constantly "reboots" itself, sometimes while I'm in the middle of a call, and issues with my contacts and calandar. It shuts down and resets itself. I've gotten help from tech support at Sprint, and the repair center and they all say this is a very good phone, and I've just gotten a bad one.
I hate the palm centro this phone is the biggest piece of junk

Excerpt: I have had nothing but problems with this phone, I haven't had it even a year and am on my third battery, the phone constantly will shut off and I have to take the battery out to get it back on. It goes to the internet with out touching buttons, the screen it terrible and the keys to small I really don't recommend it to anyone
Excerpt: I have a palm centro cell phone and I would not recommend it to others. It drops calls frequently, it has a very small keyboard and it is very slow when trying to browse the internet. If you do buy it I would highly recommend buying the device protection plan with it. I have replaced my palm centro three times due to problems like it just not turning on. Another time the period just quit working, which was very annoying when trying to do internet applications.
Excerpt: I purchased this phone about a year ago. Although I love the service provider, this is one phone that I have no plans of ever purchasing again. My initial thoughts were this is a nice little phone, I'm going to enjoy it because of the features. It comes with a touch screen, ability to watch TV, play the Radio, Instant Messaging, Web access, a ton of features, & the price was nice too. Well the old saying is true, you get what you pay for.
Excerpt: The Palm Centro was not my first choice in cell phones when I decided to buy it a while back, but got it for requirements with work. It has a tendency to freeze very easily and internet is very slow. Compared to the other phones on the market now, this is very subpar-- save your money and go for Android system instead.
