The Nokia X6 is a quad band WCDMA 900/1900/2100/GSM/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 MHz mobile phone that supports automatic switching between GSM bands. The mobile phone also supports CSD, HSCSD, GPRS/EDGE class A, multislot class 11, with similtaneous voice and packet data mode support; GPRS/EDGE class B, multislot class 32; WCDMA 2100/1900 with similtaneous voice and packet data mode support and HSDPA cat 6, maximum speed 3.6 Mbps (DL) data transfer speeds, WLAN IEEE 802.11 b/g wireless connectivity with TCP/IP support, Bluetooth version 2.0 with Enhanced Data Rate and MTP (Mobile Transfer Protocol) support. It also has a TV out (PAL) connector and support for PC synchronisation with Nokia Ovi Suite in its classic with finger-operated touch screen user interface that measures 111.0 x 51.0 x 13.8 mm and weighs 122 g. The mobile phone also features a 3.2 inch capacitive touch screen with 640 x 360 pixels (nHD) pixel resolution, up to 16.7 million colours, automatic orientation sensor (Accelerometer) for display rotation and 16:9 widescreen aspect ratio. Other features include: integrated A-GPS and navigation with Ovi Maps 3.0, Micro USB connector for USB 2.0 High Speed to PC, a 3.5 mm Nokia AV connector for audio and TV-out, a small DC jack, a 32 GB internal memory, a 5.0 megapixel AF camera (2592 x 1944 pixels) with Carl Zeiss optics, 4x digital zoom, Dual LED flash, image editor on device and direct printing to compatible picture printers. The phone is powered by a BL-5J 1320 mAh Li-Ion standard battery that provides up to GSM 8 h 30 min/WCDMA 6 h of talktime and GSM 401 h/WCDMA 420 h of standby time.

The Nokia X6 is a mobile phone designed to provide users with entertainment and keep them connected wtih social networking capabilities. The phone also features unliminited music downloads from Nokia Music Store that features millions of free tracks to download and to keep with a 12 or 18 month subscription period. The phone supprots Nokia Music manager software that lets users transfer music between the mobile phone and a PC or vice versa. It automatically imports compatible music files already saved on a PC. With all music in one place users can create playlists, rip and burn CDs, and view or edit track information. The Nokia Music Store lets users find specific artists or tracks from four major labels and independents and lets sers browse according to genre or playlist. Tracks can be previewed before they are bought, or users can sign up for unlimited streaming that will allow them to listen to full songs and albums without taking up disc space. It also has a Mix Me feature that lets them hear music choices in a different light.
