Excerpt: I do a lot of waiting in my line of work, and to keep boredom at bay, I usually carry around my PSP, a book, a digital camera and an MP3 player. However, when weight is an issue, I settle for my MP3 player alone because music can get me through the day. I was therefore glad for the advent of multi-functional mobile phones. I am happy with my Nokia 5800 XpressMusic, but I am always on the lookout for a better alternative.
Summary: It is incredible that Nokia has come up with a super sleek phone with almost all the feature you would look for in a smart phone. Look and feel of the phone make this phone a huge bargain for the price of the phone. Do not compare to Smart phones of Apple,Samsung or > $200 range..if you like superfast, high resolution GUI & Apps go for iPhone.
Summary: Nice phone. I had issues with battery life before I reloaded software from the Nokia site. For longer battery life, I would also recommend turning off Bluetooth and the WLAN search when they are not in use,. Setting the phone to GSM only helps too. The phone came will with a euro/ac adapter which is crap and didn't fit my wall outlets. It wasn't charging the phone properly. I purchased a $5.00 A/C travel adapter which did the trick.
Excerpt: A good phone to use, I was looking for a phone with the features that it has, I felt happy that it has an Internet Phone feature where in I could use my VoIP SIP account to make international calls, in the begining I didnt know how, but it's working now. If anyone is interested to know on how to get thier VoIP SIP settings configured in their mobile phone I could give the proper directions on how to get it done (only for a selected service providers)
Summary: PROS- This phone is what you want if you use a PHONE. I tried MANY phones -from- AT&T (and returned all of them) wanting a phone I could use for phone calls. ALL of them -would not- allow me to call my WIRED TELEPHONE ANSWERER and pick up messages. These were called SMART PHONES but they -would not- allow me to punch in a code for the answerer in order to retrieve my messages. The SMART PHONES just would not allow me to enter the numbers and pick up messages.
Summary: I have always been a NOKIA fan for its long lfe batteries, strong & sturdy encasements and signal reception. This time I was making a maiden purchase of a Unlocked phone in US. Over a year I have seen innumerable Smart Phones of different makes & of different statements for individuals but I wondered how many of us actually need a Smart Phone.Do you need to browse google map while driving on a FreeWay??.
Summary: Pretty sharp, especially for such a small phone (as compared to today's standards for touch screen displays). Part of me wonders why I feel like I need the physical keys - my cell phone experience might be more enjoyable if I opted for a full touchscreen - but in the end, I'm weird and I love having the physical keys, even though it's t9 entry and not qwerty. Anyway.
Excerpt: Very good design, but the camera and battery energy isn't good as the design. Nokia X3-02 using resitive touchscreen. But i think the touchscreen more responsive than other phones with resitive touchscreen too. And i think, the biggest problem is the battery. BL-4S battery just has 860 mAh energy.I always charge this battery before traveling and i never using this phone when i traveling to the faraway places To keep the battery energy when i traveling, I just using it...
Pros: Design, sound quality, Support upto 32GB MicroSD card, More responsive than other resitive touchscreen phone
Excerpt: I have been using Nokia X3 for the last two months now. It is a slide type hand set and has a very cute appearance, a feature that really attracted me to this phone . It has 46 MB inbuilt memory and can be expanded up to 16GB by entering a micro SD card in the memory slot. The weight of the phone is 103g which is light and it also has a solid feeling to it. The keypad is just right, not too sensitive or non-responsive and this makes texting very pleasurable.
Excerpt: A combination of touch screen capability and typing messages using keypads sounds like a good bargain but I was not a fan of this phone . The phone runs on Series 40 operating system. The weight is 77.4 g and measures 9.6 mm thick. This is one of the slim phones that I have encountered. Its touch screen capability is supported with “candybar” form factor. This is Wifi capable and comes with an FM radio. The camera is only 5 megapixel and 50 MB memory storage.
