Nokia X3-02 Touch and Type (Unlocked)

PC Magazine
6 August 2011
  • Conclusion: The unlocked Nokia X3-02 is yet another model in a long line of capable, unlocked Nokia cell phones that few Americans need or want; if you're one of the few target customers, Nokia offers much better options.
  • Pros: Attractive and lightweight. Solid call quality. Easy to use one-handed. Good camera and music player.
  • Cons: Cluttered home screen. "Typing" is tough without a QWERTY keyboard. Finicky haptic feedback. Shaky data connection. No voice dialing or GPS.

Nokia X3 Touch and Type Review: In Depth

22 April 2011
  • Conclusion: Nokia has struck a good balance here with the X3 Touch and Type. The mixture of a small touchscreen with a basic numeric keypad really works. There were a couple of things we found annoying such as the browsers and the omission of a flash for the camera. But overall the Nokia X3 Touch & Type is a decent mid-range phone that’s easy to get to grips with.

Nokia X3 Review: In Depth

Recombu
22 April 2011
  • Conclusion: The Nokia X3 isn't the perfect phone; but it's not a basic handset trying to be a cheap smartphone and that's why we like it. Yes, it's a bit basic but it fits into its own skin unlike its older brother, the X6. So rather than getting frustrated every time we used the phone, it was a pleasant albeit basic experience.
