Excerpt: To the hip generation of mobile users, you’ll probably miss a lot of things like wi-fi connectivity and such (it absolutely knows no 3G, even GPRS). But for my mom, where simplicity is key, the phone suits her needs. The Nokia X1-01 has the DNA of a basic symbian mobile that you and I have (don’t deny!) used long before smartphones were born.
Summary: This is the third Nokia I have owned and not disappointed at all. Was very happy with the last one of similar model but needed to accommodate both my sims. Only issue I have is that it reverts back to automatic text mode after each message sent. Not sure if there is a remedy for this, and it is only a minor point, anyway. I love its physicality and how it feels in my hand, not too substantial but a bit heavier than the single sim. Love it!
Summary: I've had this for a year now and find it handy to have 2 sims in one phone. It's best feature is that, despite being dropped on numerous occasions on the pavement, amazingly it's still alive!! Some of its features aren't as easy to use as previous Nokias I've had, but it deserves 5 stars for its durability and ease of using the dual sim features. The torch is almost useless on it but this is the only thing I'd fault.
Summary: Nothing exciting about the phone but I'd done my research and this met the bill exactly. All I wanted was a basic twin SIM mobile and that is what I got. Not very exciting but filled the bill exactly.
Summary: I've always stuck by old Nokia phones. I tried some smartphones but I often found that they diluted the phone. This phone is a replacement to my 2 old nokia phones. I have dual nationality and as such I have 2 phones from 2 countries, thanks to the X1 I now have only one! Both sims from different countries work at the same timne amazingly. It's very easy to use, and dialing out is incredibly easy. I recharged it 6 days ago and I have only lost one bar of battery life.
