Summary: Good: * Battery life * 500 contacts * Favourites feature Poor: * NO synchronisation of contacts !!! * Installing SIM with multiple entries for each contact turns into Contact 1, Contact 2, Contact 3. i.e. no way of distinguishing home from office numbers, etc * Copying from SIM to phone results in double entries - big fun with Contact 1, Contact 2 * Management of To-Dos * Only one SMS draft possible at a time
Excerpt: Low-end basic phones exist for a reason. As much as the whole world lusts for the latest smartphones, there are anti-techie people who snub gadgets for phones that are easy to use. I was suddenly out buying a basic cellphone for my mom. Because it retained most of the classic symbian layout, the Nokia X1-01 was my item of choice. It sounded great too. A phone that can joggle between 2 sim cards is definitely more valuable.
Excerpt: Its damn good at 1.9k...after using 3g/touch screen mobiles for 4yrs. It has dual SIM, and big battery(1320mAh), also has microSD card slot for listening to songs. Battery comes for 1week with normal usage of 6hrs talk-time and 7hrs music/radio playback and with dual SIM's in standby. Sound quality is very good for radio/MP3 player. Loud speaker is really loud. It comes with 5 cool colors and the appearance is loud enough to mark it as an expensive set.
Pros: Battery is jumbo and works for full 1week., Less expensive., It comes with 5 cool colors and has a glassy look on its keypad., The sound clarity is good for MP3 player/Radio , the headset is clear n loud enough., Call quality is good and loud and clear with the headset and loud speaker., Visibility in sunlight is good., No software issues till date., Dual SIM standby is good without any issues.
Cons: it could have included some more UI features like editing a SIM contact name., little bit slow on typing the keypad as it is not of a rubber one., No bluetooth
Good phone for money. But could have some "core" functions.

Summary: It is a good phone for money but it would be really nice if it had some core functions like screen brightness setting. It is not that this is some high technology as my older phone, much older phone had it already. Overall it is not a bad phone, really cheap, you can fit two sim cards in, so good when you travel abroad etc.
